I'm sure there's some reason that during this enjoyable playing the video shows mainly the person playing background, rather than the beautiful handwork of the person playing melody, right?
Antonio Lauro fue uno de los grandes compositores de Venezuela y sus piezas son de mucha dificultad de ejecución. Los felicito su interpretación fue excelente.
very nice work, bravo!!!! believe it or not I have an Olivo electric bass guitar he built for me in 1980 when he lived in Toronto, still the best guitar I have ever played. thank you enjoyed!
Excellent, so the fingers doesnt match 100% the Alirio Diaz score and there are some added gliss. The performance is very good and a second guitar add a fresh sound. 5*.
Forgive me for saying, but your suggestion & 'remember' comment make little sense. The speed is in range of its originally intended tempo & we play it in a clear 3 meter with absolutely no suggestive Jazz elements.
Great performance guys. As Lauro wrote this for a single guitar, then my congrats for the duo arrangement. When I heard first thought that was a Carlos Gardel duo style. Absolutely amazing. Greetings there in SouthCal from Argentina
Thanks a bunch! We were just in Argentina! It's beautiful there with a flourishing music life. We loved it! Derek's guitar is from Argentina! Greetings from SoCal!
Uh, it's the fourth finger extension on bar 10, not the shift. Obviously not the refined articulation. I'm afraid to say that this performance is not on par with my aristocratic expectations of Lauro waltzes.
Great recording...with lot of ambiance

Nice work, but you should keep the correct tempo. Remember it's latin american waltz music not jazz.

Yeah, you should take classes from Alexander. He's an excellent teacher and an incredible guitarist. I don't get to see him play like this in class.
