This is a magnificent Russian march, "Slavic Woman Bidding Farewell."

It was composed in 1912 in honor of the Bulgarian ladies, who were seeing off their male relatives and friends, who were departing for the fronts in Macedonia and Thrace to fight the Turks during the First Balkan War of 1912-3.

Shown is a Russian military parade in May of 2008, commemorating the victory over Nazi Germany in 1945.

This Sovjet&Russian Worldfamous March is really the most suggestive amnong all thye marsches in the world you can listen.First of all it is composed in a minor key. It becomes more dramatically then i major. But it is also very strong and heavy and because of its minor key at the same time very melodic. Like the kernel in the Russian folkmusic. It is a mirror of the Russian soul and therefore it is for me very nice to look and listen this famous marsch
