@Hiccupby Thank you. Well before that I really had not done anything remotely like that. Not even crafts. I had jumped into making that mask because I had found some nice fake fur and had always wanted to make a mask. That's the reason that it was made out of paper towels, and other stuff that I could find around the house. I had no idea as to what should have been used at the time.

@kutstudios Its not 3000 dollars for the head- its about 200-400. TThe highest ive seen is 2400 dollars for a full suit, and it was professionally done. $3000 is around the price for quadsuits or fursuits with animatronics and other accesories

How well would it work to wrap the frame in hide? I've been raising a wolf as my partner but she's getting old. I figured she may as well live on in my flesh forever, but after eating her I may need to do something with the skin. I was also planning on lining a "fleshlight" with her fur.

Look out for your local material shop. Any fabric shop is more or less going to have a few faux fur options. If you can't see them in the shop ask at the desk (sometimes they're kept away from other fabrics because they are not commonly saught after). Then be prepared to pay up :3 A cheap faux fur would be about £6 (or $10) per square metre, or close to £8 (or $12) per square yard.

I've only used hot glue, so I don't know if those other glues will work.

I recommend using hot glue. it works very good and doesn't cost very much.

Yeah hot glue seems to be the top choice in making a suit. All the how to make a suit videos use hot glue. So go with that.

Follow me eyes :3  They are pushed back so that only a portion of the eye can be seen while looking at the eye. That creates the illusion that they are always looking at you :3

And also; (sorry I forgot this in the first post) you made this outta wire and cardboard?! Im really impressed XD Did you make cheek shapes with seperate pieces and attatch it to a base, or did you make the entire shape with cardboard, with the cheeks already defined? (again sorry if I make no sense XDDD)

well, the wire was just used around my head, just so I could get the general shape and size. and pretty much the rest of the mask was made out of paper tawel,and glue. the cardboard was just put into the snout, to help me decide how long the mask the snout would be, and also as an air way.

the cheeks and brows are also made out of paper tawels. I just grabbed 1 peace at a time. ^_^
