I am so sad to report that he is no longer with us in body, but he is with me forever in spirit. He ended up very sick and we had to make the decision to let him go. We took him to a neurologist and he either had a brain tumor or an abscess He just got worse and worse. It was so so sad. We have another rescue dog. Thanks for inquiring.
what ended up happening with your dog? Just as the poster below said that is normal eye movement when a dog is going to sleep. It is the 3rd eyelid and not your dogs eyes rolling back in his head. It is hard to tell if it is vestibular because the dog is not up moving. C.V.T.
My dog is going through this as well right now. Your dogs eyes aren't rolling back; it is his third eyelid closing as he drifts off to sleep. How is he doing now?
So sorry for your loss. So sad. Our dog was just diagnosed today with vestibular disease. I sure hope ours recovers.

I'm sorry for your loss... :(( How old was he? My dog is 13,5 year and the vet says she might have vestibular disease. I really hope she'll recover.
