god, I wish my band was as good as you guys. Makes me wish my dad had chosen to live in Vincennes instead of Washington, oh well, guess we can't choose our band, and I love my Golden Pride people, even if we suck.

My band, the Sound of Sun Prairie, did Wicked in 2009. Even though our band is much smaller, I think we did pretty good. Cool to hear the different arrangements of the same music.

This is fantastic... Where was this? My high school band is doing Wicked but we don't sound nearly as good as this... =P Though our music is just a little different then this... but during the first part of your second song it is just four of our flutes playing and NO ONE can hear them... I play the bells and I like the bells for ours a little better but apart from that this is great.

wow. i usually dont think that music from Wicked is usually done well by a marching band at any level, but you guys pulled it off! If Wicked had only come out back in 96-2000 when i was in HS marching band!

I totally agree. I don't think the music transfers over well to marching band. I'm a senior this year and high school band will be playing this next school year. All I have to say is that I'm glad I'm graduating.

This band is amazing tonally and visually. Near what I would think is perfection.

The emotions of the music were captured in every movement, a rare accomplishment for a high school band. Both the brass (powerful) and the woodwinds (soaring) played their parts with balance and thought. Impact moments were impactful, the marching (from what I could see through the quality) was very good. I love the arrangement here.

The percussion and pit sections were also very skilled in their attacks.

once you have March DCI world finals or a world champion WGI line you can have my permission to make immature comments on my old band videos. Until stick to playing Oblivion for hours and getting fat while you think to yourself, "wow I'm such a good little bandie, I survive five days of band camps, I can play within 20 cents of being in tune, I can play all my high school's whittle warms ups. I must have the experience to make this comment."

That part of this performance made me want to cry as well. All of the music was absolutely wonderful! I didn't think that Wicked was well suited to marching band, but I'm pretty sure you guys proved me wrong.

Wow... our marching band sucked compared to this. It was amazing! I wish mine would have been that good when I was in high school but when I was a sophomore he had just started it because he was a new teacher and then there wasn't one junior year but senior year there was and we sucked both years
