@1pen2books The Social-Democrats in Sweden have been doing a good job delivering to their people like the have promised, there is unemployment but they have never had anything to do with that. It seems like Spain's biggest problem is lack of democracy, while they're stuffing their throats and letting the people that they promised to defend has nothing to do with the fact that they're socialists, they are just selfish people just like here in Iceland. Democracy must be brought to the world.

Also, given the amount of benefits the US government gives Native Americans (i.e. college scholarships, etc.), I think they'd fair better on US land than if they had their own state. Besides, there isn't even a sizeable minority of Native Americans that are asking for their own state.Israel on the other hand

The occupation of Palestine must end and since hamas and fatah is all they have I'd pick them any day over Israel. This war will stop when the power of love occupies the love of power.

@OttarErOsom but today´s war in Middle East has an origin. The origin of that war is not the Jewish migration cause that migration exists since 1492 when the sad famous spanish catholic king and queen robbed and expelled the Jews from Spain. And there wasn´t any problem. The origin of the conflict was and is today the xenophobic reaction of the religious and intelectual musslim arabs who manipulate the fanatized and ignorant arab masses to harass Judaism in Middle East.

@1pen2books The wars origin is that after WW2 jews were given the land of Israel. The original plan was simple and agreeable but ever since then they have been taking more and more land from the Palestinians and have now occupied almost all their land. America has always supported Israel with money and now that money is used to keep Palestinians as some sort of prisoners in their own country and now they refuse to call them one. Later on American companies wanted oil from Afghanistan and Iraq.

@OttarErOsom Yes, in 1947 Jews were given a piece of land......and palestinians were given a piece of land, too . Jews accepted but palestinians didn´t and declared Jews the war....starting with atacks against the Jewish communites and masacrating them. Jews started to defend themselves and the Hagganah was born.
Today´s Israel and Palestina territories were part of the Ottoman Empire. Jews rebuilt Israel while palestinians, instead of building their own country spent their time killing Jews.

@1pen2books There had been conflicts between the two for a long time but for the most part they just left each other alone. The Palestinians of course didn't want a country for the jews by taking their land and having Americans invade their home. 75.000 muslim civilians were killed to make way for the jews, the Palestinians didn't quite accept those terms.

As I explained before,Jews had been arriving in the land since 1492 in a continuous flow. @1pen2books I know well that jews had been there for many decades but it's not that the jews were immigrating but the fact that they occupied ad took over their land and sort of imprisoned them in Gaza. Jews had left Israel and when others took what no-one really had anymore all of a sudden they ''stole'' their land. They also did this 4000 years ago and then they wiped out an entire race of people that had settled there to get it back.

These are the historical facts: that the Jews BOUGHT the land from the arabs centimeter after centimeter, farm after farm, house after house and that remained in the deepest center of the Zionist goal until the year 1948.
By that time..Jews logicaly had no military power at all.......how could they "invade" and expelled and killed Palestinians ?.

@1pen2books They didn't have to do it, the Americans did it for them. It was 1957 I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) when the Americans started invading and that is when this became a problem. That is when those 75.000 civilians were killed to make way for even more land for the jews.

In 1901 was created the Jewish National Fund TO KEEP ON BUYING land from Palestinians, to help the creation of new free Jewish comunities dedicated to industry and pacific activities. This was in fact and realy the clue institution and not tha Hagganah !!! cause the Hagganah was created much later in 1920 to defend Jews themselves against the murderous behaviour of the arabs.

@1pen2books And there was nothing wrong with that, the Palestinians could't afford to fix their land so the jews did. It was a peaceful way to gain land and something the world needs to learn from. The Palestinians and jews had no intentions of living together and racial discrimination was common. It wasn't until they started involving war into this that it became a problem to me, and using money to buy artillery to imprison the Palestinians and that is how it has been till this day.

@1pen2books The jews were just as bad as bad as the Palestinians and they weren't peaceful for s**t when this had all started. There were peaceful people among both of them but they will always be there and will be the face of a nation when they are allies, and if not, the violent ones will represent them.
That is one valley that I wish would represent entire Israel and Palestine, but it's too bad that in the rest of this area it mainly consists of hate towards your fellow neighbor.
