After it freeze your ps3 is fked up and it wont read any game? Or how do you hesitate that o.O I heard there is a way and you have to reset or it won't read any disk afterwards.

theres your problem right there you should not have switch the hdd drive i tryed that once befor and it did the same thing first take out your new hdd drive and make sure it is the same rpms as the old one if its just a little slower rpms it wont be able to handle the speed and graphics that the games need to play and if the new hdd is slower then the old one put the old one back in and it should stop freezing i hope this helps your problem

Freezing is a big problem on PS3 and Xbox 360 The games that have been reported that i know of are

1 Mw2 Both consoles

2 GTA IV Both

3 Ac2 both i think

once i try to go off from online game and it jus freez on the loading screen...i then press the ps botton and quit the game, it gave me a black screen for a sec and it reboot....this happened more than 3 times

Mine worked damn well for months, I completed the main story and decided again to choose different options and I had about 6 games saved or less. I also got a Xbox RRoD and had that working with GTA4 as well as other games. Both systems died, well, PS3 for GTA4 specifically. HOWEVER, dust is the main thing mine collected, and lots of it!

Xb360 DOES freeze up but in small increments as GTA4 did on PS3 when I initially got it. Uncharted froze in the same place only a handful of times and it picks right back up with Auto Save as it is

well thats the thing you have an old ps3 and for some reason the old ones freeze with gta 4 so call sony and theyll get you a replacement

Join the F'n club! I got it working on Xbox360 then RRoD again. It was repaired for a short time, now both mine are getting cold solder repairs! Fingers crossed on the outcome

Yes, I own both copies and it DOES freeze up and delay texture loading as does the PS3, there is some tough code I believe and it's not flawless

Yes PlayStation 3 needs a 15 minute download to the HDD to play it. It uses 3+ gigabytes on PS3 and under 1 MB on X360.

Well, they both are damn fine, even with the different optical media. DVD is still used for the PC versions. Gaming off the HDD provides better response but 5400rpm?? I think 7200 should be in effect on these

I quick fix for this is turning off your 'Media Server Connection' Under 'Network' Reset your PS3 and it will be fine

@bikerdor16 i had the same issue. along with AC2 and red dead redemption. deleting game saves, reinstalling data, replacing HDD even exchanging my copy of RDR for a new one - none of these did anything to fix it. Its gotta be an issue with the PS3 itself even though it doesnt happen on every game. this vid was from 2 yrs ago, u have a new ps3 now dont you? did it die??
