@SkellionPowalskiz I do like how this Dracula looks, but for me, my favorite Draculas are SotN (because he's a Magnificent Bastard in there) and Order of Ecclesia. He shaved his beard because he heard a beautiful woman was coming after him that time.

@Duskwither Eh, unless he's in black and white films, Dracula only looks good with a beard, and OoE was a pretty lackluster game anyway. I wonder why Dracula is shaved in both DS games that I dislike the most?

@SkellionPowalskiz Depends, then. Beards soften features, so sometimes it's difficult to get a beard that makes a character look fierce at the same time. I'm fond of this one because he looks disheveled and quite aged, and it makes him look... feral. Beard and all.

love this theme, really epic music and really fitted the final battle against dracula (wich was REALLY "nasty" took me about 6 tries to actually beat him, and took almost a hour to do so XD, and i use to beat other CV bosses laughing and without taking damage (even beat the dragon zombies in "perfect" only with the whip once), great dracula, great music

America - a lot of Censorship + battle of brands to get credit for what they did and get more ppl to buy their products.

Japan - They do a image that actually resembles the whole game in 1 pic, as ZombieHouseFresnoCA said, just ART, also in japan the brands fights aren't so aggresive as in america

Ugh. It's NOT a Nintendo game. It's just published by them. The Castlevania series is multi-console franchise. As for the box art, it has to do with the popular cultures of the region the game is released in. It's been statistically proven that a certain styles of cover art must be used in different regions in order for the games to sell well. It just so happens that in the U.S., this isn't one of those styles.

i second that, personally (and as a big castlevania fan) i like this WAY more than SoTN (wich i think is nice, but overrated after all), great storyline, great playability (a lot better than AoS wich wanted to be a second SoTN but still failed at that) with a lot of levels, really challenging bosses, the card magic system was GREAT, also the most important, the main character uses the legendary whip Vampire Killer, instead of main char using variety of swords, that just owns.
