When I was in India I like Indian train but since I travel lot in european super fast trains like eurostar(UK),ICE(Germany),Thalys and TGV (French) I get bored travelling in Indian train.They are very noisy,very moving and ugly.
I like indian train station while travelling...I can buy tea,CHHOLE/PURI etc.
@pawanrulz oh yeah?? wat about amtrak which goes to the WHOLE USA~!!!! pwned!!! and it is a commuter train just like metrolink but can be faster than that indian train and the acela the speed train MADE BY amtrak is about 150 MILES PER HOUR can your indian train beat that????
@Pompadour123 ........ where it beats amtrak is at the running cost and the train fare. For almost the fare charged by amtrak you could but a ticket of a low cost carrier airplane in India.
the number of people the los angeles metrolink transports in a year is what the Indian Railways transport in a day. You guys don't have public transport in 50% of your country, our railways go up to the Himalayas. Beat that.
did u know wap-5 is faster than wap-7??!! wap-7 has more torque at rims and is designed to pull heavy (longer) rakes at 110-130 kmph? while a wap-5 is the one designed to take medium rakes to 140-150 kmph!
@kannampillil Do you know something? A WAP-5 can haul 26 bogies (1550t) load upto 150-160 kmph. A WAP-7 can haul 26 bogies upto 140 kmph. Though WAP-5s were designed for medium load trains, they do perform nicely with heavier rakes. A WAP-7 has a better acceleration and is a little more powerful as compared to a WAP-5. Both are evidently, the best!!

the fastest indian train and the one that always without exception has to be haules by the great wap-7 is with due respect.. "BHOPAL SHATABDI" ... no one can beat this train......
2nd place- kanpur reverse shatabdi
3rd - sealdah duronto
4th - allahabad duronto
5th - mumbai rajdhani....
here comes the rajs.... so rajs not unbeatable...... and not fastest..

that train is slow the metrolink in los angeles goes faster than that. And its a commuter train not those speedy trains

No i dont think so....
this RAJ has a special dignity which other RAJ doesn't have......
and as per the speed BHOPAL SATABDI runs on that speed only a few mins...so that doesn't make tht train unbeatable....
yeah...no doubt on this that the runs fastest in india but still you can not ignore SDAH RAJDHANI(2313up/2314dn)
