Part 2: The reason we fell out is over a boyfriend because she didn't like him, think he was any good for me, she didn't know him, wouldn't get to know him. I'm married to the guy, we're celebrating 14 years together in 2 days! My sister very rudely mouthed off at our wedding (she was invited because I didn't want to upset my parents) saying our marriage wouldn't last but we've proved her wrong. I can't understand why she couldn't be happy for me. I've cried many tears but I can't do it anymore.
My sister and I haven't spoken for 16 years. My sister has two kids and my Mum tells me about how quick the kids are growing up and it really hurts me. I don't know them and I'll probably never know them except through my parents. I kind of switch off when my Mum talks about her grandkids because I feel no connection to them sadly, but I would like to. I've tried to mend bridges but my sister won't speak to me. I hope one day she'll contact me to sort things out but I know I've done all I can.

First let me say, that God is a loving God, who will never harm anyone at no time, all the natural disasters that are happening around the globe are caused by people sinning, not Him being an unloved God. God is God of justification, so He has to remain his deity pure at all times. He give us our own will, as well as how to follow the Bible.

A lot of times, we don't see the purpose behind things until later on, especially if the situation is unpleasant (and this is beyond unpleasant....).
@Rachycakes59 We need to understand that God hates tragedies and the spread of evil much more than we do. First of all, He sees it on a grander scale. God is moved (and heartbroken) by the horrific things that happen. God uses suffering to refine us. Secondly, God uses suffering to remind us that we are not in control; He is. God chooses many times not to give us answers because He doesn’t owe us an explanation. (Read Job.) =)

I think the hard part is when you have an EX but he is the father of your kids (in my case) and yet even after being broken up for 10 years he is still an imature I don't even want to say the words on here. and I have tried time and time again just to get him to grow UP for the kids sake, stop partying and neglecting his kids (he has 50 percent custody) and he DOESN'T deserve them.
I mean it's like a no win situation. ... what do you do then?

How do you know when to STOP reaching out to them? When is enough enough? I'm very happy in my life, but this is one thing that's always picking at me. I wish so much that my friend would be involved in my life like he used to be, we were SO close. I've progressed so much this past year and just wish he'd be a part of it. I've written him about this twice, we became close again, but then we'd go back to not talking. I want my friend back, but I'm tired of being the one to beg for my friend back
@AL0tT0Handle -- and I have prayed on it and asked for guidance and wisdom...The Serenity Prayer (which I try so hard to live by), but nothing really cleared up. I still sit hurting that he can't share all these great experiences with me, but at the same time, I'm hurt that I feel like all the "work" to keep in touch is just dumped on me and is "my fault" we drift.
