There's no energy loss when exciting an electron, you put energy into a system to move them to a higher energy level and they release the same energy when they drop down. Are you thinking of heat loss in an open and closed system? I'm not sure if your talking about the energy to excite an electron or making this video when you say that they should feed people instead but either way I disagree. This is an amazing tribute to (one of) the best bands ever
