DC had GREAT fighting games SF3 1&2 power stone capcom vs snk the FIRST to have MVC2! project justice.had the thing to go into the controller what was it called? that was innovative.SEGA RULED the arcades.i'm a big sony fan,but DC had the potential to be great....sega quit on it....dropped the ball.
Don't know if this was pointed out yet, but every Sega commercial always includes bashing Nintendo or Sony. That is not what I want to point out, because I love Sega. In this commercial if you pause around 42-3 you will see she has a triangle on her helmet. Is that a remark to Sony PlayStation, you decide.
That remote control inside the suitcase, i am not sure what that goes to but I think it might be something to do with NetTV which was supposed to be put onto the dreamcast by Microsoft, who screwed SEGA along with Peter Moore.
@StasherDragon me either man i bought a PC instead :P the dreamcast pretty much prepped me for PC gaming when i found out ps2/xbox/gamecube couldnt play online at launch or surf the web i went PC
@MrInsanity25 Nope, nothing. My husband may have bought a PS2, but I wasn't behind it at all. I may have upgraded my computer, but have bought no consoles.
oh wait, i was looking at the wrong "triangle". there is a longer version of this commercial where the spy wears a silver band around her arm. It has four symbols : X, Triangle, Circle, and square. thats what i thought he was pointing out.
I remember my bro was watching the mtv music awards at his friends and he told me he saw this. the very next day it was on again and i loved it. oh the memories.
No they didn't. I have the patent. It was registered in 2008 under a newer Dreamcast trademark with a different description suggesting that a DC sequel will be choosen for the new console. The official 1999 DC patent is listed as officially dead. cancellation date: 4/18/2009.
Henceforth they will be launching a new console from Ringedge. This is just part of the info I've found. I got plenty. PM me.
Man I remember this commercial. I wanted a Dreamcast more than ever, but I had to wait a year to get mine. And I still have it. Only went into the repair shop once because the motor to make the disc spin finally gave out.
I love this commercial! I remember being so hyped when I first downloaded this. Back then I was on America Online's 56k and it took sooo long to complete.
The dreamcast was a great system. It had the potential to make it all the way through the sixth generation of gaming consoles if it wasn't plauged by piracy issues and wasn't dropped by Sega. It's a tragedy really. Definatly one of the best systems ever, and way ahead of its time.
Does anyone else find it creepy how every TV turns into the US Dreamcast logo? o_O

There's a subliminal message in the lower right corner at 0:24. That shape look familiar?
cinndave 3 years ago
how is a simple triangle a subliminal message? I think you're paranoid.
franksnberries 3 years ago
It's supposed to be a spy from sony. you know, the playstation? The console that sort of killed the Sega Saturn AND Dreamcast?
KingMrSnowBallMan2 3 years ago
So every time you see a triangle you automatically think "Playstation"?
