@Tapajara You are correct. Christianity itself is in no way at fault for racism white supremacy. The burden of culpability is with the Eurocentric white cultures and peoples who perverted the teachings of Jesus in order to rationalize and justify evil practices perpetrated against non Europeans. Moreover, if Europeans had practiced Christianity as Jesus taught it chattel slavery, apartheid, segregation, materialism, imperialism, colonialism, etc. would never have happened.
@salahudeenabduladl Well said. I would not be so quick, though, to imply that the evils you listed in your last sentence were wholy due to Europeans. Slavery exists today in northern moslem Africa/Arabia. The Zulu now enjoy their homeland because of the saughter of the Basotho people; the remnants of whom now live in Lesotho to escape from the murderous Zulu. The Kiowa, Crow and Blackfoot (among others) were also very predatory on other native American tribes for self gain. Should I go on?
@Tapajara You disrespect and minimize the incredible sufferings--meted out by the collective of European peoples and their cultures--of millions upon millions of both African Diasporic and Native American peoples by comparing hundreds of years of chattel slavery, genocide, imperialism, apartheid/segregation, exploitaion, cultural devastation, brutality, murder, torture, ad nauseum with commonplace inter- or intra-ethnic conflicts or skirmishes.
@Tapajara The most enduring, damaging, and salient devastation to Native Americans and the African Diaspora has been their experiences with Europeans. Even white intellectuals such as Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn, Michael Parenti, Tim Wise, and former CIA Bureau Chief John Stockwell are quite adamant about the overarching and baleful impact that European hegemomy and imperialism had--and is still having--on the African and other non European peoples, mostly in the southern hemisphere.
@Tapajara Would you be so obtuse as to compare the Falkland Islands War (in the 1980's between Britain and Argentina) with the German Holocaust in which eleven million people (six million of which were Jews) were outright murdered in concentration camps throughout Europe?
@Tapajara To Germany's credit they did not seek to sidestep responsibility and accountability for their depredations by stating to the Jewish Holocaust survivors that: "Well, other peoples have done bad things to you Jews also, like the pogroms in Russia, so why are you taking us to task, after all we're not so bad; so take the Russians to task and leave us alone."
@Tapajara The German people simlpy acknowledged their wrongs and to this day are still paying reparations to Isreal as a nation and to individual Holocaust survivors. You employ a characteristic method of rationalizations and excuses and incredibly "shallow" reasoning meant to serve as an ego defense and absolve Europeans of the evils that they have committed.
@Tapajara You take an arrogant and presumptuous posture by assuming that I am not aware that there has always been intra- and inter-ethnic conflict among various oppressed peoples. But your reasoning is specious in that in a court of law a criminal's defense for his actions cannot be that: "Well, I am not the only one who has committed a crime." This is a casuistry of principles and preposterous reasoning.
@Tapajara The mature and moral response is to respect the sentiments of the oppressed party and then do further investigation to better understand and possibly "empathize" with those who cite the Europeans as the greatest malefactors relative to the African Diaspora. Your shallow references to intra-ethnic conflicts indicate a lack of objectivity--if not sensitivity.
@Tapajara "I" can counter "on and on" about the atrocities committed by Europeans. In the former Belgian Congo, King Leopold's regime killed about one million blacks per year and routinely amputated the hands and breasts of black workers for not making their quotas in the copper mines. At the time of these Belgian atrocities Mark Twain was one of the most vociferous and critical detractors of European involvement in Africa, especially in the Congo.
@Tapajara British colonizers in Kenya routinely punished and terrorized black men by what the British called "screwing," i.e., castration by placing a black man's scrotum in a vice. In fact--look it up--Pres. Barak Obama's paternal grandfather was actually castrated in this way by the savage British colonizers.
@Tapajara In the Caribbean, slave masters often punished slaves by forcing them to eat human faeces, scatophage. In the United States white psychotics routinely terrorized, raped, castrated, lynched, and tortured blacks throughout this country for over one hundred years after slavery and well into the latter half of the twentieth century.
@Tapajara At the height of the evil "terrorist" group called the kkk--and at a time in the 1920's when the US population was much smaller--there were about two million members of the kkk committed to perpetrating savage acts against black people and keeping us in the most abject condions of misery humanly possible.
@Tapajara Compare this two million strong kkk anti-black terrorists with the current worldwide "fear" promoted by Western propaganda machines against Al Qaeda, which at its peak membership was no more than about one thousand strong.
@Tapajara Moreover, savage white supremacists often brought their entire families--even their minor children--to observe and actually "celebrate" lynchings, burnings at the stake, castratiions, ad nauseum of blacks in the US.
@Tapajara Do some research on the savagery of the white community against the blacks in America. You will find that whites often had post cards made up depicting lynched black men hanging from trees and covered in blood from savage beatings and castrations.
@Tapajara Many of these savage whites admit--to this day--that they proudly possess family souvenirs and heirlooms, handed down to them generation after generation, of body parts (i.e., fingers, toes, ears, penises) of lynched black males--this is documented fact and reality for many Southern whites. "I" can go "on and on."
@Tapajara The upshot is that the most relevant and immediate cause of the ongoing misery for most blacks in Africa and in the Diaspora has been the European. Other peoples, such as the Arabs, have also been very instrumental in the rapine of the black race and our enslavement.
@Tapajara But it was--and still is--the European who has by far caused the most harm and is most culpable with regard to what the famous intellectual Walter Rodney, in his classic text How Europe Underdeveloped Africa, cited as being an increasingly high and ongoing misery quotient of not only those blacks currently residing in Africa but black peoples worldwide.
@Tapajara Yes, even in South Africa, where as the speaker in this blog video states, "savage" whites (both Boer and British) hunted the negroid San (or Bushmen) as if they were animals and for sport.
@Tapajara If you do more research you will find that so-called "slavery" among Africans is actually a misnomer in that it was more a feudal agrarian system (similar to that found in Europe) whereby the vassal bound to the land (and his/her landlord) was not considered other than human and often married into the landlord's family, thereby elevating his/her status. This possibility of status change was not possible in the system of chattel slavery.
@Tapajara The European imposed system of chattel slavery was unique in history in that this system defined (black) peoples as animals. Many, many African tribes fought the Dutch, Portuguese, Boers, British, Arabs, etc. in order to resist colonization and being taken as slaves. Some tribes were compelled to assist Europeans and Arabs in the slave trade with the coercive threat that if they did not participate then they themselves would be taken as slaves.
@Tapajara This phenomenon of complicity with the oppressor is commonplace when a situation of "terroristic" oppression exists of one group over another. For example, the intellectual Norman Finkelstein cited the capitulation of the Vichy French puppet regime (of collaborators) that fought on the side of the occupying Nazis against their own countrymen (i.e., the French Resistance fighters under the leadership of Charles De Gaulle).
@Tapajara Prof. Norman Finkelstein noted that only about 10% of the French people were involved with resistance against Nazi occupation. Most of the others were terrified of Nazi punishment or retribution, similar to the punishment meted out to an entire Czech village (in which tens of thousands were slaughtered) after a faction of Czech resisters, from that village, assassinated a leading SS occupying officer.
@Tapajara Moreover, as former CIA Bureau Chief John Stockwell wrote, in his book In Search of Enemies, US and CIA invovlement in Africa, and several other Third World or Developing countries, has led to "a minimum estimate of six million unwaranted deaths." This casualty estimate spanned about a 30-year time frame prior to the publication of his book in the late 1970's.
@Tapajara Another excellent book, called Confessions of an Economic Hitman by John Perkins, recounts how US, and other Western or European powers and corporate interests, use puppet regimes and manipulation of events to foment internecine conflict among African and other Third World nations in order to destabilize and weaken societies, that will later then be exploited by the Western agenda of "neo [economic] colonization."
@Tapajara Thus many current and recent wars in Africa, and other Third World nations, are actually wars of proxy, Western manipulation, and artifice in service of Western interests. The upshot is that if it were not for Western involvement most of the recent and current wars in Africa most likely would not have occurred; at least, this is what the experts such as John Stockwell say.
@Tapajara So stop being small-minded and petty when it comes to unequivocal acceptance of the most pernicious role that Europeans, their cultures, and societies has had on the black race for hundreds of years. The Berlin Conference, of the late nineteenth century, saw the entire European community of leadership sit down to aportion the whole of Africa among themselves, for exploitation and rapine, in order to benefit the white race as mercenary lords of planet Earth.
@Tapajara The epoch of racsim white supremacy is still with us. Racism white supremacy is the actual "World Order" that is in no way "New." Your rejoinder to me is out of place, grossly out of proportion, asinine, overly simplistic, unstudied, and outright ludicrous.
@Tapajara If not for the great gravity and tragedy of the topic on the ongoing brutalization and exploitation of the black race by whites--inclusive of Europeans, Semitic Arabs and Jews, Aryan East Indian upper castes relative to the incredibly oppressed black Dravidian Untouchable caste, ad nauseum--your comments to me would be laughable.
@salahudeenabduladl You trivialize the much greater damage that your species Homo sapiens is causing to the rest of life on the planet. You lament over petty civil rights for humans that have it rather well when entire species are exterminated by such humans. You think yourself righteous when you are only griping that things are not better for your own kind? Don't you understand? The rest of the Earth is undergoing a mass extinction because of the people you are defending.
@Tapajara This is my very last correspondence with you. How could you have read all the info that I have shared with you yet still be so obtuse and insensitive? You are despicably arrogant and uninformed. At least you could have the decency to research the authors and scholarship that I have cited. Your second comment to me was weak and unsupported, even less noteworthy than your first comment.
@Tapajara You seem to be "projecting" your own perceived need to trivialize what "I" am saying when it is most assuredly you who is, incomprehensibly, trying to do the trivializing. I have researched the topic of racism white supremacy for several years. It is apparent that you are so arrogant and ignorant that you do not seem to think this worldwide phenomenon of racism white supremacy is worth becoming informed about. Idiot!
@Tapajara Would you tell a Jew or the ADL (Anti-Defamation League) or JDL (Jewish Defense League) not to worry about anti-Semitism? Of course not! Would you tell a woman not to worry about misogyny? Would you tell a homosexual to forget about homophobia? You are such an ignoramous that you seem to not be aware when you are applying double standards when it comes to assessing the plight of black people in the world.
@Tapajara How misguided and deluded you are! You are symptomatic of the immature ego defense mechanism of "denial." Also, your character is woefully deficient in that you seem to have no human emotion relative to the sufferings of your fellow human beings who are of African ancestry.
@Tapajara Simply the expression of our sufferings as black people seems to send you into a self-induced funk. Are you truly that thin-skinned, childishly defensive, and self-centered that you seek to debar black people even the mere acknowledgment of having been violated. How crass and narcissistic on your part!
@Tapajara One of the greatest crimes, dovetailing an initial crime, is lack of remorse or contrition on the part of the malefactor. Such contrition is all-important, in a court of law, and can be the single determinig factor in ajudging someone's fate relative to the criminal justice system. Thus you display not only weak intellect but weak character as well.
@Tapajara You lack insight or are simply too calloused and de-sensitized to apprehend the significance of the poignant anecdotes that I have shared with you.
@Tapajara Our society acknowledges that there exists a cultural pathology, relative to women, called "misogyny." We are also informed that there is a pathology of "homophobia," that is directed at homosexuals in our American society. Yet the even more pervasive and pernicious pathology (among whites in the Western World) of irrational anti-black phobias and hatreds does not even have a nosology in the lexicon or consciousness of peoples in white society.
@Tapajara Basically, your denials and insensitivities to blacks and our sufferings illustrates the extent of evil and pathology in the hearts and minds of many whites toward hapless black victims of the system of racism white supremacy. What is most disgusting is that you are so arrogant and benighted that you actually seem to believe you are taking a "moral" position--for what I do not know. The true moral position would be for you to concur with the truths that I have been sharing with you!
@Tapajara You present as being abysmally warped and deluded relative to your thinking processes. Would you have the timerity to tell Holocaust victims or their family members to "think of the larger picture" and not focus on or address the evils perpetrated against them by Nazis?
@Tapajara It is the inalienable right of a victim to process and deal with his pain and sufferings as he deems fit. How dare you dictate to blacks, or any other victims of racism white supremacy, how we should deal with the sufferings that white peoples have caused us to begin with! Your vague and idiotic defenses indicate a desperate attempt to evade introspection and adequate reflection on the topic at hand.
@Tapajara Many weak-minded whites become dismissive of an issue--especially racism white supremacy--when confronted or challenged. This is classic avoidant and neurotic behavior. Again, there is a psychological distortion going on here that wil require a greater level of intervention for you than I can offer on this blog site.
@Tapajara Even if you are incapable--intellectually, psychologically, spiritually, or emotionally--of accepting the truth of what me and many others fully comprehend about the incredible evils of racism white supremacy, perhaps other psychologically healthy or intellligent viewers of this blog site will be edified by what I have shared with them.
@Tapajara It seems that you are not ready to begin a much needed growth process that will enable you to comprehend the gravity and salience of what I have sincerely been sharing with you. Again, it seems futile to correspond with you further.
@salahudeenabduladl I haven't denied a thing you've said. All the bad things you've listed are indeed bad and really happened. But you've put words into my mouth that were never there. I've always treated people of other races (including blacks and jews) with respect and have never done any of the horrible things you've described but somehow you want me to feel personal guilt for what I've never done? You have a really bad way of trying to promote support for your cause.
@salahudeenabduladl Sir. You have a serious problem with your anger. You have focused your research to feed your hatred and that will do nothing but destroy you and those around you. I suggest that you seek God for your own well-being and realize that Jesus was right. The evil of the world is not caused by people of a certain skin color or origin. Good and bad people come in all races and from all nations.
@Tapajara Sir ..Imagine a man breaks into your house and kills all your family and moves in with his family. Do you think that his children who are living in this stolen house are just as guilty as the murdering thief who took it? What do you think?
@blaqblood1111 How much did the children help in the murders? Now answer this question: Did the owner of the house who was murdered along with his family kill even its previous owner and his family even before he and his family were killed or did he purchase the house outright with his own hard work and honesty? I hope you realize that your very theoretical scenario leaves out so much information (after all, it is fictitious) that one could vote either way depending on a million other details.
@Tapajara So your analysis is that if the murdered family had themselves killed to get their house they deserve the same! Okay! Then in this cycle these present murdering landgrabbers deserve the same also .. as you said one turn deserves another.. right!?
@blaqblood1111 I am not saying that it is the way things should be. But it was the way things were before colonialism brought rule of the written law to replace rule of the strongest. Sure, colonial law was primarily written by colonialists for colonialists but appartheid is over now. Haven't you been watching the news?
@Tapajara this written law gave a few hundred thousand colonialists over 90% of the land and left tens of millions of native Africans to fight over the less than 10%.
@salahudeenabduladl Go back and read your last sentence before you went on your tyrade. It literally blamed all of the bad things you listed on Europeans and claimed that none of it would ever have happened if it had not been for Europeans. All I meant was that you were over-stating you case which does not help your argument. Do you think all Europeans should be punished for what the evil-doers have committted? Is there that much hate and prejudice in you?
Apartheid would have happened if they were christain or muslim. They kill all the indigenous people of the countries they invade, then take over there culture and then act like it has been in there possession all along. Arabs are no different than there brothers/Europeans in the other faiths. Only difference is that they have darkened skin because of heavy mixing. Arabs act more European instictively than Afrikan. European is a European/Mass Murderering Psycho and Arabs are no different.
This is NOT my opinion and of 98% of the people who are Dutch-reformed. I believe that Cham only is Blasted by Noah and not his descendants. And it's not sure that Chams descendants. are the African people so Apartheid is not a Christian thing!!!
I do not know much about Muslims and their faith, but its wrong to blame christianity for apartheid!!!! We all are human and we all make mistakes and do big sins. But thats the reason that God has given his Son Jesus to wash our sins away!!!!
The people who support appartheid there statement is based on the words that Naoh said to his son Cham. Cham saw his father drunken and naked and did not cover his naked budy with clothes. When Noah later hears he blasted his son Cham (genesis 9:25) People who believe in aparthied interpret this for his descendants. The descendants of Cham are maybe (but thats not sure!) the people in africa.
In the first place I'm christian and I believe that Jesus is the Son of God who died for our Sins. We people are sinfull since Adam and Eve (genesis 3) so we all do have no right to come in heaven. But God has given his Son and he died for our sins and if you believe it you will be saved!
Well thats where its all about when your Christian!!!!
I'm Dutch and Dutch-reformed. My entire family is member of this church. My primary school, secondary school and university where part of the dutch-reformed church. So I can say I'm an insider of this church,
Galatians 3:26-29 You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise.
Did this solve racism? No. Nor did quran. Search 'arab slavery'. Instead a new problem called Intolerance was created just like Christianity.
First who wrote Galatians? it wa Paul, not Jesus, beside it didnt solve slavery it simply say all Christians are equal, Even Jesus in the Bible was asked to visit a slave, in response, Jesus did not free the slave and instead called the slave OWNER the most Faithful in Israel;
"I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith." [Luke 7:9]
You said Arab were slave traders, yes but you failed to understand that slavery existed BEFORE the advent of prophet Muhammad, now lets see what God said in the Quran regarding slavery
" It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces to the East and the West; but righteous is he who believeth in Allah and the Last Day and the angels and the Scripture and the prophets; and giveth wealth, for love of Him, to kinsfolk and to orphans and the needy and the wayfarer and to those who ask, AND TO -SET SLAVES FREE-; and observeth proper worship and payeth the poor-due." {Holy Qur'an Translation 2:177}
Quran is ONLY book on earth that encourages its followers to free their slaves, on the contrary the Bible teaches you how to treat a slave but it does NOT tell you to liberate them !
My point was Christians, like Muslims are not expected to be racist at least to each other, which is clear according to their respective theologies. As for Arab slavery it existed before and after the prohet, many Muslim countries banning it only in the last half century, though I don't claim that this represents Islam. Quran is not the only book and it is not strict about not owning slaves in the first place, or freeing them as much as it is strict on daily prayers or halal meat or pork.
Abolition of slavery was documented on the Cyrus cylinder(>1000 years back). The Bible as you said does not do enough to condone slavery either.
The point is, that Cyrus the Great and Abraham Lincoln were far far better than the Quran and the Bible in terms of abolishing slavery. Some, but not most modern values and wisdom came out the holy books though I wouldn't totally reject their spiritual values. To add to it, many of the good stuff in these holy books are not practised in general.
You're not trying to state that Abraham Lincoln was a good guy are you? If so, I beg the differ, he was just like the rest. He even had slaves and he did not free slaves because he loved them neither. It was about money and power, period.
You said the Quran isnt the only book but you didnt mention any other books, if you mean the Bible then let me remind you that the bible used in America during the 60s to JUSTIFY slavery, it was also used in south Africa..I know the vedas (the book of hindu) doesnt forbid slavery too..
ArabianLover: the eightfold path of Buddhism speaks against slavery:
"...a lay follower should not engage in five types of business. Which five? Business in weapons, business in living beings, business in meat, business in intoxicants, and business in poison."
your right the Quran doesnt stict about owning slaves but it does encourages its followers to free their slaves for the sake of Allah ..now this is a sloution to slavery from muslim perspective ..Christianity has no alternative
The other 'book' is the Cyrus Clinder in 500 BC. What more than the 'Golden Rule' do you need to understand that slavery is wrong, and this is positively stated by Jesus. It's also mentioned there in some way or the other in all the major religions. But like I said religious practices are often selectively followed as a means of getting a feel of self righteousness rather than for doing what is actually right and it took several centuries for all humanity to despise the practice of slavery.
To everyone on here: Why is Islam the best? Why is Christianity the best? What is good about islam or Cristianity? islam has evil and so to Christianity both religions have a bad history with slavery kidnap child abuse so why make it a race issue?
Islam is against slavery. Infact one of the first muslims was a freed african slave. In Islam free'ing slaves is a noble act. Islam does not believe in kidnap or chid abuse either. They are against Islamic principles. Learn a little more about Islam before you criticise it.
"The Islamic prophet Muhammad encouraged manumission of slaves, even if one had to purchase them first. On many occasions, Muhammad's companions, at his direction, freed slaves in abundance. Muhammad personally freed 63 slaves, and his wife Aisha freed 67. In total his household and friends freed 39,237 slaves"

I was mistaken Sudan is in North Africa, I have no idea why I typed in South, I might have been multi tasking again, I tend to get careless with small details when I am doing to many things at one time. You are correct South Africa is a country and the Continent of Africa certainly has a North and a South.

@Tapajara Another excellent book, called Confessions of an Economic Hitman by John Perkins, recounts how US, and other Western or European powers and corporate interests, use puppet regimes and manipulation of events to foment internecine conflict among African and other Third World nations in order to destabilize and weaken societies, that will later then be exploited by the Western agenda of "neo [economic] colonization."
salahudeenabduladl 1 year ago
@Tapajara Thus many current and recent wars in Africa, and other Third World nations, are actually wars of proxy, Western manipulation, and artifice in service of Western interests. The upshot is that if it were not for Western involvement most of the recent and current wars in Africa most likely would not have occurred; at least, this is what the experts such as John Stockwell say.

@Tapajara So stop being small-minded and petty when it comes to unequivocal acceptance of the most pernicious role that Europeans, their cultures, and societies has had on the black race for hundreds of years. The Berlin Conference, of the late nineteenth century, saw the entire European community of leadership sit down to aportion the whole of Africa among themselves, for exploitation and rapine, in order to benefit the white race as mercenary lords of planet Earth.
salahudeenabduladl 1 year ago
@Tapajara The epoch of racsim white supremacy is still with us. Racism white supremacy is the actual "World Order" that is in no way "New." Your rejoinder to me is out of place, grossly out of proportion, asinine, overly simplistic, unstudied, and outright ludicrous.
salahudeenabduladl 1 year ago
@Tapajara If not for the great gravity and tragedy of the topic on the ongoing brutalization and exploitation of the black race by whites--inclusive of Europeans, Semitic Arabs and Jews, Aryan East Indian upper castes relative to the incredibly oppressed black Dravidian Untouchable caste, ad nauseum--your comments to me would be laughable.
salahudeenabduladl 1 year ago

Your second comment to me was weak and unsupported, even less noteworthy than your first comment.
salahudeenabduladl 1 year ago
@Tapajara You seem to be "projecting" your own perceived need to trivialize what "I" am saying when it is most assuredly you who is, incomprehensibly, trying to do the trivializing. I have researched the topic of racism white supremacy for several years. It is apparent that you are so arrogant and ignorant that you do not seem to think this worldwide phenomenon of racism white supremacy is worth becoming informed about. Idiot!
salahudeenabduladl 1 year ago
@Tapajara Would you tell a Jew or the ADL (Anti-Defamation League) or JDL (Jewish Defense League) not to worry about anti-Semitism? Of course not! Would you tell a woman not to worry about misogyny? Would you tell a homosexual to forget about homophobia? You are such an ignoramous that you seem to not be aware when you are applying double standards when it comes to assessing the plight of black people in the world.
salahudeenabduladl 1 year ago
@Tapajara How misguided and deluded you are! You are symptomatic of the immature ego defense mechanism of "denial." Also, your character is woefully deficient in that you seem to have no human emotion relative to the sufferings of your fellow human beings who are of African ancestry.
salahudeenabduladl 1 year ago
@Tapajara Simply the expression of our sufferings as black people seems to send you into a self-induced funk. Are you truly that thin-skinned, childishly defensive, and self-centered that you seek to debar black people even the mere acknowledgment of having been violated. How crass and narcissistic on your part!
salahudeenabduladl 1 year ago
@Tapajara One of the greatest crimes, dovetailing an initial crime, is lack of remorse or contrition on the part of the malefactor. Such contrition is all-important, in a court of law, and can be the single determinig factor in ajudging someone's fate relative to the criminal justice system. Thus you display not only weak intellect but weak character as well.
salahudeenabduladl 1 year ago
@Tapajara You lack insight or are simply too calloused and de-sensitized to apprehend the significance of the poignant anecdotes that I have shared with you.
salahudeenabduladl 1 year ago
@Tapajara Our society acknowledges that there exists a cultural pathology, relative to women, called "misogyny." We are also informed that there is a pathology of "homophobia," that is directed at homosexuals in our American society. Yet the even more pervasive and pernicious pathology (among whites in the Western World) of irrational anti-black phobias and hatreds does not even have a nosology in the lexicon or consciousness of peoples in white society.
salahudeenabduladl 1 year ago
@Tapajara Basically, your denials and insensitivities to blacks and our sufferings illustrates the extent of evil and pathology in the hearts and minds of many whites toward hapless black victims of the system of racism white supremacy. What is most disgusting is that you are so arrogant and benighted that you actually seem to believe you are taking a "moral" position--for what I do not know. The true moral position would be for you to concur with the truths that I have been sharing with you!
salahudeenabduladl 1 year ago
@Tapajara You present as being abysmally warped and deluded relative to your thinking processes. Would you have the timerity to tell Holocaust victims or their family members to "think of the larger picture" and not focus on or address the evils perpetrated against them by Nazis?
salahudeenabduladl 1 year ago
@Tapajara It is the inalienable right of a victim to process and deal with his pain and sufferings as he deems fit. How dare you dictate to blacks, or any other victims of racism white supremacy, how we should deal with the sufferings that white peoples have caused us to begin with! Your vague and idiotic defenses indicate a desperate attempt to evade introspection and adequate reflection on the topic at hand.
salahudeenabduladl 1 year ago
@Tapajara Many weak-minded whites become dismissive of an issue--especially racism white supremacy--when confronted or challenged. This is classic avoidant and neurotic behavior. Again, there is a psychological distortion going on here that wil require a greater level of intervention for you than I can offer on this blog site.
salahudeenabduladl 1 year ago
@Tapajara Even if you are incapable--intellectually, psychologically, spiritually, or emotionally--of accepting the truth of what me and many others fully comprehend about the incredible evils of racism white supremacy, perhaps other psychologically healthy or intellligent viewers of this blog site will be edified by what I have shared with them.
salahudeenabduladl 1 year ago
@Tapajara It seems that you are not ready to begin a much needed growth process that will enable you to comprehend the gravity and salience of what I have sincerely been sharing with you. Again, it seems futile to correspond with you further.
salahudeenabduladl 1 year ago
@salahudeenabduladl I haven't denied a thing you've said. All the bad things you've listed are indeed bad and really happened. But you've put words into my mouth that were never there. I've always treated people of other races (including blacks and jews) with respect and have never done any of the horrible things you've described but somehow you want me to feel personal guilt for what I've never done? You have a really bad way of trying to promote support for your cause.
Tapajara 1 year ago
@salahudeenabduladl Sir. You have a serious problem with your anger. You have focused your research to feed your hatred and that will do nothing but destroy you and those around you. I suggest that you seek God for your own well-being and realize that Jesus was right. The evil of the world is not caused by people of a certain skin color or origin. Good and bad people come in all races and from all nations.
Tapajara 1 year ago
@Tapajara Sir ..Imagine a man breaks into your house and kills all your family and moves in with his family. Do you think that his children who are living in this stolen house are just as guilty as the murdering thief who took it? What do you think?
blaqblood1111 1 year ago
@blaqblood1111 How much did the children help in the murders? Now answer this question: Did the owner of the house who was murdered along with his family kill even its previous owner and his family even before he and his family were killed or did he purchase the house outright with his own hard work and honesty? I hope you realize that your very theoretical scenario leaves out so much information (after all, it is fictitious) that one could vote either way depending on a million other details.
Tapajara 1 year ago
@Tapajara So your analysis is that if the murdered family had themselves killed to get their house they deserve the same! Okay! Then in this cycle these present murdering landgrabbers deserve the same also .. as you said one turn deserves another.. right!?
blaqblood1111 1 year ago
@blaqblood1111 I am not saying that it is the way things should be. But it was the way things were before colonialism brought rule of the written law to replace rule of the strongest. Sure, colonial law was primarily written by colonialists for colonialists but appartheid is over now. Haven't you been watching the news?
Tapajara 1 year ago
@Tapajara this written law gave a few hundred thousand colonialists over 90% of the land and left tens of millions of native Africans to fight over the less than 10%.
blaqblood1111 1 year ago
@salahudeenabduladl Go back and read your last sentence before you went on your tyrade. It literally blamed all of the bad things you listed on Europeans and claimed that none of it would ever have happened if it had not been for Europeans. All I meant was that you were over-stating you case which does not help your argument. Do you think all Europeans should be punished for what the evil-doers have committted? Is there that much hate and prejudice in you?

How did Christianity Mythra get in Africa?
Who took it to Africa?
odephraimchai 1 year ago

But thats the reason that God has given his Son Jesus to wash our sins away!!!!
ekwe84 2 years ago
The people who support appartheid there statement is based on the words that Naoh said to his son Cham. Cham saw his father drunken and naked and did not cover his naked budy with clothes. When Noah later hears he blasted his son Cham (genesis 9:25) People who believe in aparthied interpret this for his descendants. The descendants of Cham are maybe (but thats not sure!) the people in africa.

The apartheid is one thing that some people based on the bible. In my opinion is a wrong understanding of the bible.

Instead a new problem called Intolerance was created just like Christianity.
burningmars 3 years ago
First who wrote Galatians? it wa Paul, not Jesus, beside it didnt solve slavery it simply say all Christians are equal, Even Jesus in the Bible was asked to visit a slave, in response, Jesus did not free the slave and instead called the slave OWNER the most Faithful in Israel;
"I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith." [Luke 7:9]

You said Arab were slave traders, yes but you failed to understand that slavery existed BEFORE the advent of prophet Muhammad, now lets see what God said in the Quran regarding slavery
ArabianLover81 3 years ago
" It is not righteousness that ye turn your faces to the East and the West; but righteous is he who believeth in Allah and the Last Day and the angels and the Scripture and the prophets; and giveth wealth, for love of Him, to kinsfolk and to orphans and the needy and the wayfarer and to those who ask, AND TO -SET SLAVES FREE-; and observeth proper worship and payeth the poor-due." {Holy Qur'an Translation 2:177}
ArabianLover81 3 years ago
Quran is ONLY book on earth that encourages its followers to free their slaves, on the contrary the Bible teaches you how to treat a slave but it does NOT tell you to liberate them !
ArabianLover81 3 years ago
In Islam, an enslaver is a Unrighteous person, but Jesus in the Bible calls them the Most Faithful.
"Slaves, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart. [Ephesians 6:5]
ArabianLover81 3 years ago
My point was Christians, like Muslims are not expected to be racist at least to each other, which is clear according to their respective theologies. As for Arab slavery it existed before and after the prohet, many Muslim countries banning it only in the last half century, though I don't claim that this represents Islam. Quran is not the only book and it is not strict about not owning slaves in the first place, or freeing them as much as it is strict on daily prayers or halal meat or pork.
burningmars 3 years ago
Abolition of slavery was documented on the Cyrus cylinder(>1000 years back). The Bible as you said does not do enough to condone slavery either.
The point is, that Cyrus the Great and Abraham Lincoln were far far better than the Quran and the Bible in terms of abolishing slavery. Some, but not most modern values and wisdom came out the holy books though I wouldn't totally reject their spiritual values. To add to it, many of the good stuff in these holy books are not practised in general.
burningmars 3 years ago
You're not trying to state that Abraham Lincoln was a good guy are you? If so, I beg the differ, he was just like the rest. He even had slaves and he did not free slaves because he loved them neither. It was about money and power, period.
cfears 3 years ago
You said the Quran isnt the only book but you didnt mention any other books, if you mean the Bible then let me remind you that the bible used in America during the 60s to JUSTIFY slavery, it was also used in south Africa..I know the vedas (the book of hindu) doesnt forbid slavery too..
ArabianLover81 3 years ago
ArabianLover: the eightfold path of Buddhism speaks against slavery:
"...a lay follower should not engage in five types of business. Which five? Business in weapons, business in living beings, business in meat, business in intoxicants, and business in poison."
beethovenqueen 2 years ago
your right the Quran doesnt stict about owning slaves but it does encourages its followers to free their slaves for the sake of Allah ..now this is a sloution to slavery from muslim perspective ..Christianity has no alternative
ArabianLover81 3 years ago
The other 'book' is the Cyrus Clinder in 500 BC. What more than the 'Golden Rule' do you need to understand that slavery is wrong, and this is positively stated by Jesus. It's also mentioned there in some way or the other in all the major religions. But like I said religious practices are often selectively followed as a means of getting a feel of self righteousness rather than for doing what is actually right and it took several centuries for all humanity to despise the practice of slavery.

Islam is against slavery. Infact one of the first muslims was a freed african slave. In Islam free'ing slaves is a noble act. Islam does not believe in kidnap or chid abuse either. They are against Islamic principles. Learn a little more about Islam before you criticise it.
samdahabib 4 years ago
"Islam is against slavery."
Fail. Mohammed himself owned several slaves, and the major schools of Islamic law have accepted slavery historically.
Look up "Muhammad and slavery" on wikipedia for a quick review since you apparently can't be bothered to know your own religion.

From Wikipedia.
