  • you're awesome! i'm just getting into my natural hair journey and finding i don't know jack LOL but love your hair! thanks for the resource!

  • also my scalp consistently feels like it has buildup and my hair has lost its luster and my curls are not as naturally defined as they used to be, a little bushier and easier to be "tangled"... lol i'm convinced. can't wait till my bottle gets here!

  • i've been using "natural" shampoo and some not so natural conditioners in my hair and i feel like it's lost its life and i just KNOW it's from my products. I do have very tight, curly coily hair just like yours. I was a little iffy at first because the mud was so expensive but i really miss my healthy hair from when i first went natural so... here goes... lol just ordered the mud!! i'm going ALL natural now... :)

  • What size bottle do you use and how long does it last you?

  • I love your helpful videos, your enthusiasm and information-researching. Plus you are infectious with it all.

  • I just ordered a huge bottle of this stuff! I am so excited and nervous to get it! I've been growing out my hair since May, so it's been like 10-ish months since my last relaxer and my hair is so curly, but I cant find a shampoo/conditioner combo that won't turn my curls in to giant frizz puffs! I can't wait to try this!!!!

  • thank you for sharing this...appreciate it

  • So I shouldn't use this if I am transitioning?

  • *watched & *this

  • OMG I am so happy I wat hed this video. I have "that patch" and its so friggin annoying. I cant wait to get some of thi.

  • i love the passion!!! i can't show this kind of emotion with other people, cuz they just don't get it!! great great great vid!

  • I just started using this mud wash, and it's GREAT! I have the same problem with detangling my hair-I used to dread combing through it but now??? I barely have to do anything! My hair is shinier, stays darker longer, and my scalp feels squeaky clean! AND I'm not running up the water bill by spending 3 hours in the shower!

  • just a tip Just Naturals has completely organic no parabens or sulfates or artificial anything!.

  • lol it's was so cute how excited you got as u were explaining this product XD

  • I wish they sound this in my area the shipping is pretty high!! But I can not find a good shampoo....

  • can you do a giveaway on this shampoo

  • can you use it on transitioning hair?

  • those evil parabens making Naptural nearly cry! :)

  • LOL you sounded really upset about the parabens like you were about to cry lol.

  • I love this video and I just placed my order for 2 different scented mud shampoos...but my question is after you wash..what conditioner do you use because they only have shampoos on the website. Do you use your homemade one? Cause I'm getting the ingredients tomorrow so I can be prepared this weekend.

  • You sold the HELL out of this product, they need to make you their official spokesperson and show you the money!!!

  • Yes. the Terressentials would be easy to make. I imagine from the ingredients list that it is rhassoul with aloe vera for moisture and essential oil for scent and natural cred. They don't say what kind of clay they use so I'm guessing because rhassoul cleans really well - other clays not usually so much. It can be nice to just buy a product but as the ingredients list is short it doesn't seem like it would be hard to make.

  • @haniyyahn Actually i just made it today, i used indian aztec healing clay, i subbed the aloe vera for a strong tea mix, with lavender EO and some hemp oil. Works BEAUTIFULLY!

  • What have you heard about WEN

  • Just ordered it!! Can't wait to try it!!

  • Just bought it! had the worst experience looking for hair products today! One store wouldn't let me push my child through the aisles because they were afraid I would steal, the next store yelled at me for taking too long?! I thought to myself this is a sign to start making my own products! Let the revolution begin! Lots of love! peace!

  • @yoyo3318 Hey i make my own mud wash kind of like terresentails, only thing is i haven't found an essentail oils to make it smell sweet :3 but i also make my ownhot oil and sealer/oil im waiting on my stuff that i need to make the mud wash... til then its silicon and poly blah blah conditioner for me... :/

  • You know what gets me, I can sit and read all the ingridents in my hair products as well as go the extra mile to make sure Im putting the best of the best organic things in it.....But ill chow down on some panda express in a heart beat! LOL ahhhhh if only i had the dicipline like i do with my hair for my body xD

  • I lovveee how passionate you are!!!! Amazing I will buy it today!!! I hope its in my local Fairway market!!! Thanks again Nap!!!

  • only 10 bucks!!!! im sold

  • I'm seriously thinking about getting this. My hair is similar to your hair type, and I do have other curl patterns, but the majority ids 4a. So I want to try this. C:

  • African black soap actually comes from Plantain skin, not from charcoal or dirt...I'm eager to try this though.

  • Ok soo I'm thinking about buying this! Do you deep condition afterwards? If so what do you use for protein and moisture deep conditioning?

  • How well will this work on transitioning hair, as I was told by my hair stylist who specializes in natural told me i got about 2 1/2 inches left of relaxed hair. And I don't want nothing to happen if I was to use it. because I am really thinking about getting this stuff this weekend lol

  • so my hair is in braids. Can i use this product?

  • I am in agreement with you. Also, in foods their is a cousin preservative with hydrogenated oil that acts much like parabens. It's also slipped in everything even your deoderant. Thanks for increasing knowledge through your chosen medium.

  • I had to pause this video to do a quick Google search on parabens and I see why you have such a strong dislike of it! Just thought I'd share the knowledge for anyone else that's wondering: Parabens is a chemical preservative that when absorbed into the body, can have devastating effects on the endocrine system (ovaries, thyroids, etc.)! Naptural85, you just taught me something new! -Thanks for the videos!! <3

  • I wanted to wait until I ran out of my current products to try this but your love for it is making me want to buy it now lol

  • the way that you are vehemently speaking about this product makes me want to try it. Did you order it online or purchase in a store?

  • lol i looooove u, ur awesooome! :) i wish they had more mainstream products like this!!!!!

  • Thanks for taking the time from your life and family to do these videos. If it matters at all I spent weeks watching other people in their videos talk and talk and you are still the BEST in my book! I love your zeal and that you take the time to show us all step by step what you do with you hair. Please cont. to keep up the good work Naptural85, we are counting on you. ;)

I created a YouTube account just to tell you that.

  • I have been using the sultry spice kind for about 5 months and i can say,i am truelly addicted...nvr use shampoo again

  • Terressentials is great the hair mud is a little rough on my hair but if I had 6 weeks of not having to go anywhere or see anyone to allow my hair to detox and get used to no chemicles TRUST ME I WOULD but I rarely have that opportunity. I did try their sampler set I found that I really liked the lavender but the peppermint was my favorite it felt like my hair was clean & it helped me to tell where the mud was on my head. The sultry spice I thought would be sexy and alluring but it smells like

  • Lol. But I have that patch

  • hahahaaha @ "what patch? i don't have a patch anymore! it doesn't exist!"

i love your videos. and i'm sick and tired of searching for perfect products on my own.

i JUST ordered some 16oz bottles online. i trust you lol

  • I love how passionate you are. . .

  • omg im so glad i came across this video. i been natural since 08 and my hair wont grow past my shoulders...now i know why. Thank you!

  • Hi im krystle 17 years old i actually made the decision myself from my mother to go natural and i have been for about 3 years. i wanted to know is there any way of getting this product at some store, because i have yet to get excited about any form of credit card. if there is not i could has my grandmother however i thought that i should ask thank you so much. Also does it matter which type i use. you use lavender my hair is really thin but thick becuz i have so much hair what would i use thnks.

  • Actually you use the wash if you have chemicals, for example hair coloring. It will take 3 to 4 weeks to completely detox the hair and remove polymer buildup. Though it is best to stop using chemicals though to get the full effect. This is according to the website. I'm a research nerd.

  • is it ok if i use this product for my natural hair which ive been wearing for about a month (i used to straighten with a flat iron a lot but I've NEVER permed it)

  • Oh and I have a LOT of frikkin hair lol straight its middle of my back. kinky curly hair and this stuff detangled and defined ok im done lol

  • Ok so I used this tonight and i LOVE it. It made my hair shiny and soft. And I HONESTLY felt like I didnt need to put anything else on it! Of course...i did lol. But next time I think i will put it on, rinse and air dry. It defined so well!

  • Hello Naptural85.....I was wondering what did the lemon shampoo do to your hair?

  • Thanks Naptural85!!! I just finished washing my hair with the terressentials lavendar garden & I absolutely love it so far. I did use the Giovanni eco chic conditioner afterwards because I like how it makes my hair feel afterwards but I didn't need to because my hair felt great after the mud wash. I probably wont use the conditioner next time. Thanks, thanks, thanks!!! Keep up the great work with the informative videos, your videos are the best.

  • @TheLavmc7 - Heyyy, I use Giovanni Echo Chic "Smooth as Silk" Deeper Moisture Conditioner, too. I'm looking forward to trying Terressentials.

  • i have to wash my hair everyday, because it's so oily. Is it enough gentle to use it everyday? (Sorry, my english is not so good. I'm from Germany.) :)

  • I hope you can buy this from a store because they charge almost $9.00 to ship.

  • @cyndeewi you cant. you have to order it directly from them. they are a very small company.if you want the product you have to order it directly from them

  • @cyndeewi i thought the same thing. That's what's holding me back from getting it

  • That mud is wonderful!!!!! I have it and I'm on day 2 of the whole "detox" thing. It leaves my curls defined and soft, I love it. Thanks for the information. I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!!

  • First off I love your spirit! Also I find your channel very informative. Have you ever tried Kinky Curly Organic Shampoo?

  • i'm gonna have to try this..but I have to ask your opinion on the Shea Moisture product line..i'm loving all the products right now and i was ust wondering if you''ve heard of or tried the porducts

  • Hello Naptural85...I just wash my hair with this product..and OMG...I love it. This is day 1 of my detox...I hope i still love it by day 5. I watch alot of videos becasue i'm a new natural and I've been trying alot of products and I much say, this is my new fav...it left my hair soft and curly. I didn't have to do anything else..I'm loving this whole natural thing...it's alot of work...but I've never been so happy with my hair and the results...Love your channel. Thank you..

  • They say that clay is negatively charged while dirt and toxins are positively charged (or vice versa lol)so the mud attracts the dirt and pulls it out of the body. Some people eat mud/clay for this reason. I was just reading about this and it prompt me to buy bentonite clay for my skin. However, I do not eat it lol. NIce video, I'll have to look into that clay.

  • what do u use as conditioner after this to moisturize

  • @ShimmerKisse, From what I am hearing I don't think she does. Because she mentioned how conditioners have silicone and other products that give the appearance of health to counteract the bad effects of the shampoos. So, her mud shampoo doesn't ruin the hair so she probably doesn't use one.

  • @cumensu she could use all natural conditioners but good point

  • does anyone know if the whole "detox" thing that the site recommends is really necessary if your hair has never been chemically processed?

  • @xXxmissysunshinexXx it isnt necessary.i use this product and i never did the detox.just wash your hair with it as normal and whatever buildup you have will eventually get washed off with the mudd wash.unless you are an avid overuser of gel and such products that coat your hair then a regular normal wash is ok.i live in london and ran out of it. i just ordered 6 16oz bottles so i dont run out anytime soon lol..................

  • @xXxmissysunshinexXx and i dilute mine with organic aloe vera juice.makes it last even longer.this product seriously rocks.i have been so mad for the past few months cos i ran out and wasnt able to get some and had to resort back to using shampoos and conditioners. but yay i cant wait for them to arrive.i got 2 mint, 2 left coast lemon and 2 lavendar.

  • I just ordered two bottles, which me luck!!!

  • @LadyKay78 no luck needed. you are 100% going to love it :-)

  • You stated this product does not hide damaged, I colored my hair 6 months ago, I've been natural for a year and a half. Would you still reccommend this product?

  • @maxeliza I know that the site says that they don't recommend that it's used with chemically treated hair.

  • with this product you do you need to use a conditioner as well.

  • You are cracking me up! you are excited!!! luv it!

  • omg man i am really over here laughing!!! i will be trying this lol

  • What do I use for my color-treated hair???

  • Why do i always hate for your videos to end? I'll answer! So much important information that i've been looking for. Thanks!!!!!!!

  • Have you tried the Shea Moisture line? I love it and i can finger comb with it too...and everything is like 10 bucks or less :) easy on a college kid's wallet lol

  • what does it smell like???

  • Ok, so I did my big chop in July and I did not wait for new growth so my hair is short and very thick. I want to try the terressentials so I am ordering today. But, I would like to know, because I am really just starting to watch your videos because of course I wasn't natural before, anyway, what type of conditioner do you use? I saw on your recent post that you only use three things on your hair. Please tell!! Ok, I feel like this post is a mile long. Good Grief!! There is so much to ask! Agh!

  • I called Terressentials today to get some questions answered before purchasing. They specifically mentioned you and your YouTube channel! Thank you for actually keeping it natural, not just in your hair texture, but your hair products as well!

  • Heey! I love your videos. I'm thinking of trying this myself. Have you tried any of their other products?

  • okay i'm not super organic/vegan or anything but i have made a decision to try to use better products especially if they r going to sit on my head for 3 hrs- overnight. i'm currently trying to unload products w/ disodium edta, parabens, dmdm bc they shouldn't be sitting on ur scalp. i was going to use BWC but they combine sodium benzoate w/ vitamin c = benzene. in short i'm just tired of looking up stuff i thought was good and finding crap. do u have any alternatives that r cheaper than terre?

  • THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS VIDEO!!! I have been looking for a an organic shampoo as well and I understand your passion. LOL!

  • I like how excited you get ;) ! I really want to try this product because I'm going completely natural when it comes to putting things on my hair and skin. Looks promising!!

  • I fell the same way now I just stopped buying the same products from trader joe's as well...i am learning so much more now that i read the bottle its so hard to find good products that's healthy n safe also organic.

  • you're a little talkative!!! LOL!!! But you're awesome!!!

  • coool I shall buy one today!! =D

  • aubrey organics is a good brand and it is usda and internationally certified! u shuld try the honeysuckle rose conditioner!

  • I really enjoy your videos. Thanks!!

  • its me again lol ! soo i said ur hair has grown but dang i can see 9 months has done u some major length keep it up! I know healthy hair is your goal but do you have a length goal?

  • A lot of stuff have parabens, not only hair products so if ur so freaked out u will end up using anything.

  • how long does your bottle last?

  • Thanks!!

  • I really love your passion. You sold me on this product immediately but then the caption stated this mud is not good for color treated hair. Would you mind expanding on that. Sorry if you've answered this question before!!

  • we should stop being so ignorant.it's not their fault!not everyone can be born fit.i'm studying to become a nutritionist so that i can help people to live happier, longer, and healthier.eating and living right puts energy back in your body, gets rid of bad skin!!i know it's not cheap,my pocket book knows it isn't.but we try our best.living like this makes me happy.and like i said before,if you don't care what i have to say STOP READING!!!im a health freak and i love it!love you NAPTURAL85!!

  • fine.don't get angry!!this is my opinion and i can say what ever the heck i want.just don't reply.everyone's body works differently.an obese person's body doesn't work the same as say a "skiny" person.a skinny person's metabolism is extremely high and and obese person's is abnormally slow.has a lot to do with genetics.but it IS NOT THEIR FAULT THEY ARE OBESE!since their body works different, the poisonous food we all eat affects them differently.they have an emotional and physchological problem.

  • not these fake, artificial, disease causing products that our country makes!!why do we think america is so fat??!cause our food has pesticides, injected hormones, overprocessed, etc!that's y my baby and I use organic and unrefined products and food.i don't want to end up in a hospital bed for the rest of my life because im poisoning myself.and its sad that it all starts from when we are babies.the food they use to make baby food was grown with pesticides.if you don't care about what im saying that's

  • you are just like me!!i study all the time about organic products and foods and this and that that truly and actually help you live better and healthier!!there are cures for virtually everything!!the pharmeceutical companies make millions by just making medicines and treatments that don't make u better!!they just keep you sick longer so that you can keep spending your money to get better!!all of these manmade things cause cancer, disease!!God put us on this earth with natural things to heal us!

  • I love your videos, love your style cabelo.kiss

  • Were can i buy this i live in the UK?

  • @queeny107 According to the site, they ship anywhere that has regular relations with the US, so that includes the UK. Just go on the site for more info :)

  • prech it girl !!!!!

  • Do you still use the deep conditioner and everyday shea conditioner in combination with this?

  • I LOVE !!!!!!!!!!!!! your videos

  • what are parabens

  • @ambi365 they are synthetic preservatives that have been linked to cancer

  • Just ordered my stuff today!! Too excited to use them.

  • Yes I read the ingredients for that Nourish Spa and passed on it. Too many ingredients is a turn off for me. I noticed the parabens too.

  • Have you ever used,or thought about using (bar) black soap?

  • @Naptural85 Just when I thought I was fully educated on being natural. I think this was the tip of the iceberg for me. Thank you very much for this highly informative video.

  • i feel like you might be a virgo, am i right or wrong? lol

  • That is so DUMB. Trader Joes is the most INEXPENSIVE best natural hair product out there, and the ammount of parabens in it are so small it cant go over 2%...so you wash your hair with mud ? Dig up some dirt and use that, people organic like that get on my nerves...um Shea Moisture..Kinky Curly *slap*.

  • @wereqwere Why does it get on your nerves when someone wants to use something different? That's her preference to use something organic. People like you are such a trip. Just dumb.

  • @KTBEverlasting Im just pointing out the obvious.

  • @wereqwere So am I

  • i've looked everywhere for this shampoo in Canada, and i can't seem it find it. I don't really want to spend a bunch on shipping, so what do you look for in a good shampoo?

  • What do you use for conditioner?

  • Okay...I know this video is a year old but Iam convinced about the shampoo. My question is what do I condition with afterwards or will I need to. What are some good leave-in conditioners.

  • hi... i don't understand some expressions so can somebody explain to me what are parabens??? thank you.

    p.s: i'm not american :D

  • @nisester Something organic people need to get over.

  • @wereqwere thnks

  • @nisester It is a synthetic chemical put into most cosmetics that is supposed to fight off bacteria. Though it can also be found in some plants.

  • @firstilicious thank you very much for the explanation... help me alot :)

  • @nisester parabens are chemicals(unnatural) that damage your hair. Google definition: "Any of a group of compounds used as preservatives in pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and in the food industry."

  • Hello!!! Thank you SOOOOOOO much for this vid. I have been trying to get on my natural kick (though I have been natural for 2 yrs) and I want all natural products as well. I do have a question for you....I have been natural for a while but i can never get my edges to grow in....do you have anything I can do to have them grow in? PLEASE HELP ME!!!

  • Hi thanks so much for this video I was sooo excited to learn this info BUT sadly I have color treated hair and I think that you said this will not work on colored hair...would you by any means have a natural shampoo solution for color treated hair??

  • great product review...i need a shampoo that does not contain protein...i need to walk away from the protein overload...i've been using giovanni...i'm definitely going to try this! I am going to follow it with a conditioner from the Shea moisture line ...so glad i discovered the shea moisture line!!!!!!!! I love love love natural hair!!!!

  • thanks for sharing sista love your vids

  • whats the ph of this shampoo??

  • Do u still use this? Does it still work for you?

  • Thank you for doing this review. I mentioned this product to my husband and he bought all the entire sample line... said he was listening to my needs..*kudos*. I read some reviews and did a lil research on this company....Anyways i can't wait to try them, exited!

  • Hahaha i love this video. I use Dr. Organics. I don't know if it's available in the states but it's free of parabens and sls (and some other stuff). Washes my hair great. I used to suffer from a dry, flaky scalp but I don't any more because my hair doesn't dry out with that shampoo.

  • so are you saying that all organic problems from whole foods have parabens and are not really organic please let me know because i was thinking about buying things from there.

  • @loveazjai i mean products sorry for the typo

  • If you have something negative to say. Y do u insist on commenting. I'm sure this stuff is better than w.e the Hell u were using before so be quiet. Shes excited and if u dont want to use it then don't. :)

  • Only one question... is this product economical? with shipping it totals $19 on the site, how long does that small bottle last? I'm a college student and have to spend my $20 very wisely! Thanks

  • and black soap is not all that, it does not work for everyone. i used it and it burned the hell out of my face and im already dark enough.

  • does this get suddys??

  • Ok so you know how you use shea butter on your hair? Does this product remove the build up that the shea would leave on your hair? and would you recommend that transitioners use it?

  • I looked at the ingredients and it has more chemicals than the kinky curly products I use. How is this product organic? I honestly don't think because it has USDA certified means that the product is not harmful for you because if those items are USDA certified, they have a lot of chemicals in them that doesn't seem healthy for you to absorb through your hair.

  • OM, how could I have missed seeing this video. I'm watching the next video you have on this wash and then straight to their website to purchase. It's answered a few questions I've had for you.

  • Im so glad to find you! Ive been natural for about 12mos and was just about to get a relaxer. You've given me Hope. Ive subscribed to your site and I plan on using your recomendations! Thank you soooooo much! ; )

  • Have you ever tried a product called DPL?

  • I just ordered the Lemon because it said it was recommended. Why didn't you like the lemon?

  • so transitioners can't use this ?

  • lol...What patch?

  • Wow! You are sooo passionate about the things that go in your hair!! I love that! :)

  • WHAT PATCH? lmao.....so passionate lol

  • Glad you are also finding out about how all the stuff we've been using (I mean, literally the majority of the entire world population) has been making us ugly, claiming to be something to enhance beauty, color, softness, etc. All Lies!! I also switched to organic stuff....Complete difference. Another tip for you: Buy a shower filter!!! OMG! in 10 minutes, we dump about a gallon of cholrine into our blood stream by bathing in municipal water. (regular tap)

  • **Update** nothing is cheaper. lol I ordered two bottles. might as well stretch that shipping fee. this vid is too cute btw u get so intense. lol "what patch?!" hahahaha

  • I tried this product and I'm super happy with the results so far. My hair products have been reduced to TWO things: the hair wash and castor oil to seal. I might buy some aloe vera gel to help with styling but I LOVE the simplicity of this. Thanks so much for sharing :)

  • sounds nice...but idk about spending $20 (price of product + shipping) on an 8oz bottle of shampoo...searching for a cheaper alternative or something I can find in a store.

thanks for the tip, love your vids : )

  • I've never had one, but I KNOW it feels good! lol..you are funny.

  • @bbnne1 Thank you for the answer to the many that has had this question.

  • Hi, what type of conditioner do you use now? Thx!

  • What conditioner do you use along with this?

  • @odliviaa Hi. She answered this on her facebook page ->" Whenever I want to condition after I wash, I use the mayo/honey/egg mix, leave it in, then rinse out."

  • @finallykogospel thanks!

  • You are so cute but I feel you. I'm always fed up when trying to buy products for my hair so I'm so glad you found something that is for REAL. I started using Curls products and I think I might have to take a look at that again..

  • I just got this in Sultry Spice. We'll see

  • Hi naptural85,

My daughter forwarded this video to me and I'm getting that stuff asap!!! Her hair looked & felt great when I saw her yesterday and she told me about the mud shampoo. I also dread washing my hair because of the time it take so I haven't been washing it as often as I should, so saving time skipping conditioning and long detangling sessions sounds good to me!!! the purity of the product is just a bonus!

  • Hello,

I used to use the African black soap on my hair, but discontinued it. I tested the soap with pH strips, and it way too harsh on my hair! It read a 10, too alkaline for our hair! Healthy hair is in the 4.5-5.5 pH range, so any products that are above this range are leaving the cortex layer of the hair exposed=dry, tangled, dull & unmanageable.

  • Hi, I am wondering if you switched the type of conditioner you use as well. Right now I still use the shampoo/ conditioner from TJ's, but now that my hair is longer it doesn't work as well as it use to.

  • do you use conditioner
