This game is fantastic. I had the original on the Amiga but for overall gameplay and balance this is the far superior game. Great graphics too and in my opinion a better game than Geometry Wars.

Ok, genius... The ORIGINAL game was called Stardust for the Amiga and the SEQUEL was Super Stardust in 1996. This is not a 'ripoff', it is Super Stardust HD (High Def). The Amiga version was good, but not that great. Why don't you buy a 50" Plasma, 7.1 Dolby Digital surround and a PS3 before you make a stupid comparison.

This is a HD remake of a decade+-old game with the same title---"Stardust" was released on the amiga 500 (and super stardust as well) before geo wars was even thought up lmao

Whomever cut that video together ought to be shot a couple times in the head (with a paintball gun), the cuts are way too short to appreciate the sheer beauty of this game! It's super fast and smooth, runs at a totally rock steady 60fps no matter how much junk is on the screen and all the asteroids are beautifully shaded and lit. Really shows off PS3 muscles.
Having just played the first planet and part of the 2nd planet, the music is GREAT and it's MOTIVATING. VERY VERY Satisfied with my $8 so far. Damn this is challenging, i hope there's a hard mode to unlock. lmao
