Fantastic Star Trek film. This, along with parts 2 (also directed by Nicholas Meyer) & 4, were easily the best of the series, i think. David Warner made a great Klingon and it was great to see him in another Nicholas Meyer film since Time After Time.
They were awesome and do you think First Contact was the only good movie out of the Next Generation films? i saw this 3 times in theaters when i was 9 and loved it for i've been a ST fan since i watched ST TAS on Nick in the 80s
@Johnlindsey289 First Contact was good and i also really liked Generations. Malcolm McDowell was awesome as Soran. The reboot was okay but could have been better, in my opinion. I saw this 4 times in theaters as a kid.
@rodimusconvoy2010 A great film and it very nearly didn't get made. They offered Nick Meyer just enough money to make the movie and then tried to cut the budget after he agreed to direct. When he objected, the head of Paramount canceled the movie. Believe it or not, that guy lost his job that same week and his replacement put the movie back on track. When it was such a hit, the suit told Meyer, "I wish we'd given you the budget to do this right."
