Your a rare breed like me. In my "fast lane" days I have a hundred buddies and NOT ONE liked soft rock. A couple liked stuff like Eagles, Dylan, Cat Stevens, Linda Ronstadt. But NONE liked soft rock, I got the strangest reactions from my friends. I had a record shelf with Floyd, Zeppelin, Beatles, Sabbath, Deep Purple, The Mac, etc but than Carpenters, Streisand, Jennifer Warnes, Air Supply, Bread, like "what's up with that dude"? LOL, some stuff I dont listen anymore, but I still like Bread!

What a totally exceptional voice. Very few artists at Davids age sound as good as they did in their "youth". I think he's actually improved.!!!! Fantastic.!!!!

He is 62 in this video. Unbelievable to have a voice that smooth and clear at that age. Combine that that with prodigious gift of song writing …He is a true once in a life time talent.

Funny I never let the wussy element stop me from enjoying beautiful music. I grew up in the 70's. My friends could never understand me. I bought all the albums & listened to The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Stones, Zeppelin, & Black Sabbath in their early days but I also had albums & listened to Air Supply, Bread, Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, Carly Simon, etc. even Streisand. I never knew another single person like me, everyone was always "hard" or "soft" with rock. All guys I knew went HARD! ;)

Dave it's you to blame!!!!! your music is the sweetest l didn't speak or undersatand the english language back then because nobody spoke english in El Salvador but l fell in love with it right away ans so everybodyelse but everyone knows BREAD back there.
