I totally agree with him; be alone with the book. As I grow more mature in Christ, I realise just how much I 'knew' and how much I was told. Being me, I told everyone I knew about it and got blasted. I guess all I should do live it out and pray people see the difference. It is a hard truth to swallow when you have based your life on it.

just HOW many of our beliefs are actually truly biblical, and how many are cultural/american???

...been wondering that for a little over a year now in my nearly three year walk in Him...

haven't celebrated christmas, easter, fourth of july, valentines day, halloween, thanksgiving, even my last birthday...

on the premise that they're NOT biblical...

we need to read His Word and see...
