Not every Twilight fan is a teenager. I'm 54 and I love it. Tasts can be different tastes but just b/c u don't like it doesn't make it beneath anybody. Some characters can only be protrayed by the people who make them successful, i.e. Jonathan Frid as Barnabas Collins/Dark Shadows. Well, no one but Michael Sheen could have played Aro. Funny enough, I got both from him, years ago, the conversation and the kiss on the neck, and yes, I was totally star-struck at the time! This was when he was travelling with the British theatre company "Cheek by Jowl" to Amsterdam and Leiden in the nineties. He was incredible back then, a phenomenal stage actor, intense, joyful, with a kind of high-spirited artistic ruthlessness that burned a hole in the stage wherever he tread. Simply amazing. A sheer and perfect joy to behold.

This man help save this movie from Chris's monotone of directing, if you can understand what I mean. He seems to be a clinical director who had no heart for it like Catherine did. It needs a woman's love and understanding of the complex interactions. He seemed just to allow anything. . like when Robert opens his eyes at the end to see Bella. It didn't look right. Catherine, I think, would have made them do it again. This guy was all about stunts, etc. I sure hope BD is directed by Catherine.
