The chords to this are pretty straightforward but I'm really not sure about how to progress the finger picking technique - I know I should get it nailed slowly and then build up speed as I get more used to it but I can't get a rythym to build on - could someone please summarise the right hand string fingering say for the first chord. but he didnt kill 27 boys, he killed 33, and thats just in chicago, there is believed to be more. also he didnt dress up like a clown for his victoms he dressed up for the sick childern in the hospital and would go visit them and make them happy.

He wrote it for the Illinois album, why only sing about the good? That is not the only thing that shapes and makes up a state. He wrote about John Wayne because it shook the foundation and lives of everyone in Illinois, the album not only portrays the beauty of Illinois but also the darker side. Yes Sufjan is Christian, yes he has Christian songs but that is not all he writes about and why should he? Hes labeled a "Christian singer" but who says that is what he has to base every song on?
