hello i have a question. My Ableton live 8 is being weird. when i play like my audio it is relaly choppy like it sounds like you are cover your ears and letting go everything second and when i try to open my auto tune EFX it crashes the whole live crashes please hlep
@omgit5shawnxd Sounds like either a buffer size issue, or your computer might need updated audio drivers for your interface. Buffer size for your interface can be adjusted in the preferences where you select your audio interface.
@XChrisxRubiX As long as your electronic kit has MIDI out then there should be no issues with using it to trigger samples. I've messed around with that sort of stuff before and had some great results.
hello, hope you can help me, how do i input in a clip, a note from the bottom of my keyboard, then join the note with another note at the top of the keyboard, creatting a siren effect please? PS. i only use midi
@grizbazzen hey dude, ya i been doing that .. it was exporting before but stopped working.. also oddly if i just export ( using windows xp) it will only give me a nano econd of recording.. i think i have to high light the area.. cheers for your help dude :-)
I like that quick style of tip giving; thanks. The faster someone explains it, the easier it is for our brain to digest it. That's why we have thousands of words made up of 26 letters and a hundred or so sounds instead of thousands of individual sounds for each word. Learned more in 10 min than I have in entire hour+ courses. Gotta love a professional.
I thought I was quite handy with Ableton until I came across these handy tips, very handy indeed.
