  • Gosh, I am in love with the mustang.

  • I tested both cars without bias. I preferred the Camaro styling and rear independent suspension, but my 6'5" frame could barely fit in it (nevermind with a helmet), and it was hard to see out of it. I could fit better in the Mustang, could see a lot better, and the clutch/tranny felt a lot nicer, so I ended up with the Mustang.

  • GM and Dodge both need to hire some modern engineers. In the 60s the only way we new how to make power was with cubic inches, modern engines are supposed to be smaller, high tech, lighter. Funny seeing two companies stuck in 1967. Ford is doing more with 20% less cubic inches

  • @JDYdesigns stop living in denial, the Five'O is much better than the camaro. There are plenty of street races where the camaro keeps losing to the mustang... That extra torque you mention aint doing much for the camaro...

  • @HottestGuyOnInternet Quite. Well, MT and R&T are all being PAID by Ford to give them a good name. inside line, car and driver, Edmunds are all stupid sources, they never have consistent times. Their 0-60 speeds are never the same, the braking 60-0 is never the same, track times, everything- terrible source. Now, those Camaro drivers suck- terrible reaction time, and never fully floored it, you would hear the Camaro. they never did. Camaro is king, stop googling shit and race them both yourself.

  • Mustang rules

  • chevy has a better look and the mustang needs to lose the attenna

  • But I'll still take a 392 Hemi in a SRT-8 challenger,you can do more with it...like I said,no replacement for displacement.what you can do with a smaller engine,you can do with a large

  • Why a 2010? The new 5.0 will smoke the 2011 Super Slow too... Come on chevy, you should know that there's no replacement for displacement, you gotta bigger engine,do something with it

  • @BigHairyFatGuy: " that there's no replacement for displacement,"

Yes there is. Its called forced induction. There are 4cylinder Honda Civics out there pushing 700 to 800HP. 6 cylinder Supras pushing well over 1000HP. Another example is OHC engines. A 6.4 liter DOHC N/A motor will also make more HP per liter than the 6.4 liter 392 Hemi.

  • @taeg151 nothing has changed on the 2011 camaro ss so if you look up 2011 camaross vs 2011 mustang gt the results are the same. Camato has more power but weighs alot more than mustangs.

  • @taeg151 that because when camaro came out in 2010 it wasnt a fair fight for 2010 mustang. Camaro had 6.2L 422hp motor. Mustang had 4.6L 315hp motor. Now for 2011 ford even the playing field bringing back the 5.0L motor with 412hp. Now its an even fight between the two car manufactures. Where have you been??

  • How can u put a 2011 model up against a 2010 model and then say ones better!! Please get two 2011 models or two 2010 models and then compare! #ThankYou

  • @twinimaging "Most people don't want to mod..." lol you seriously haven't looked at youtube lately have you?

  • @kmk408ci

Youtube doesn't prove much of anything. It doesn't show what the majority of people out there have and/or are doing. Here in North Carolina, Fort Bragg especially, while there are some modded vehicles (old and new, lightly and highly modded), most of them are untouched. Trust me kid, there is a much greater world outside of youtube.

  • @phattacorider Well, alot of guys I've known deploy and leave their car at a shop. No, youtube doesn't show what the majority of people are doing, but the majority of people aren't on youtube discussing hp per liter either...

  • @Bravo12RX LOL

  • @Bravo12RX @Watch from :40 to 1:00. Its easy to see that the mustang stays much more level through the corner. The commentator even says that "stock it picks up a little push too easily" hinting at under steer, and that it "could benefit from stiffer suspension". He goes on to say that "the mustang gt is stiff and responsive". Just because a car rides better doesn't mean that it handles better. On a 200 ft skidpad the mustang pulls .91g the camaro is at .88. It may not seem big but its huge diff

  • @Rapide0910 go ahead , break the transmission, scratch it. you got to pay $2,000+ for minor damages.. do you know how bad the economy is in america ? yea your insurance, but you know how much you'll pay monthly for it ? rather pay the insurance monthly and when something breaks, just have the company fix it...

  • Well. I guess mustangs are better.

  • @killionair13 Well theres this thing called suspension, and the SS's is better engineered. End of story. Great to hear you haven't crashed your car because you have learned to counter steer, but you don't know the differences in handling characteristics between irs and a solid axle. Ford however, knows, and is releasing the mustang with irs in 2014, more than a full decade after GM switched over. In 2014, I will happily say that the Mustang will be a great car. But not today.

  • @kmk408ci Sure gm switched over ten years ago but the camaro hasnt been around for ten years to see that. And why would you switch when you can save money and still make a great handling car? This video is proof of that. This mustang handles better than that camaro. Has Chevy even heard about shedding weight, this mustang isnt the lightest but 3447 lb while the camaro weighs 3849. 402 lb is a big difference and it would keep up with the mustang if it would loose some bulk.

  • @kmk408ci: For what ever reason. I always see people talking about the solid rear axle in the mustang. But as for as this generation, I fail to see how its hurting the mustangs right now. The mustang GT, is faster than both the Camaro ss and the Challenger SRT8 around a track, and its even equaled a BMW M3. The boss 302 mustang is quicker around a track vs. a M3 and even a Audi R8. As for as this generation of mustangs. I don't see how the solid rear axle hurts them.

  • @V8Supercar1 I do. Not just in track times, but in ride quality. The Camaro SS is quicker around tracks such as the Nurburgring, where the limits on your track times are related to how much you care about your life. The Mustang, while perhaps physically capable of achieving faster times on flat and predictable tracks due to its light weight, is more unpredictable and easily upset at the limit, especially over bumps and potholes.

  • @kmk408ci: As for as ride quality. I've never heard any reviewers compliment the ride quality in the SS. But I have heard them say that its stiff. The mustang GT has never been on the Nurburgring. But it has at least been on the Willow springs, and the Virgina International Raceway where it posted slightly quicker lap times vs. the SS.

  • @V8Supercar1 i wish all cars had a solid rear axle, it would make the car more predictable and give the driver more confidence in fast driving.

  • @Bongwater123: Not every car needs it. But its obviously fine for this generation of stangs considering they are on top of their competitors. I'm still amazed that the 5.0 GT was only 1 tenth of a second slower going around a track vs. a BMW M3.

  • ehhh everybody has different taste all i say is on with american muscle :)

  • @AdverbAdjective lol those are not true. the camaro is a diifficult car to get used to. it is, steering is strange, there is little vision, etc. however, now that they have ben out for a while people have grown a custom to it and now can reach the limit on it, with confidence. the ones that are loosing to the 5.0s are guys who bought the camaro within 6 months ago. once you get used to the car, hands-down the camaro is faster. put a small supercharger on it and you're in the corvette class.

  • @kmk408ci still it beat the SS around the track. go figure

  • ford only

  • @kmk408ci Your pitting a 580 hp against a mustang. I havent been able to come up with lap times around the ring yet for the boss, gt500, or super snake but that would be a much better opponent for a zl1. But if the camaro can beat any of these cars i will tip my hat to them. As long as i know the rocket of a gtx1 (750hp ford gt) can monster the zr1 anywhere on any track im fine with that. A kit cobra whith a roush 427r and the right suspension goodies will be CHEAPER and FASTER than the zl1.

  • @J3FFY23 (part 2) So, now GT500's cloud up my rear view mirror producing 600+HP. actually, I raced my SS with 2011 GT's (on the strip) and I was beating them stock by a half second. Until you race BOTH, you will never really know.

  • Sorry. 2011*

  • @AdverbAdjective Most powerful production V8? Lololol.

    Ford 5.8L V8: 670bhp.

    Koenigsegg Agera 5.0L V8: 927bhp.

    See the difference?

  • The true mustangs died in the '70s. The modern excuse for a car is pathetic. Rides bad, is uncomfortable as hell, and can be trashed by the Camaros and the Challengers.

  • @djkike650 What do you mean get smoked if its not a quarter mile? Where else would the Camaro win? Road racing? Nope. Braking? Nope. Roll on's? Nope. I have a 2012 Mustang and it's the best car I have ever owned. I took a look at the Camaro and it nice but the interior was way too cheap looking. When I went for a test drive it just felt too heavy and the blind spots are insane. Btw I'm not ragging on the Camaro but since 2011 the Mustang has been on top. I'm sure Chevy will have a response soon.

  • @jamesfs912 Btw I paid 24700 for my base mustang gt which is about 5-6k cheaper than the Camaro.

  • Camaro driver needs to learn how to drive, either way give me a Camaro over a Mustang any day. Don't need a rattle box 5 years down the road.

  • @djkike650 Cracked Heads Every Valve Rattles Oil Leaks Every Time

First On Race Day! FORD 4 LIFE

  • well... the camaro'

s launch at the end was really bad... so u cant say anything from this

  • no need to void the warranty buy ford racing partsz have them put on at the dealership like the 5.0 supercharger get 650rwhp and a few other things and im sure u could beat the zr1 and not spend 150k on a pos

  • @guitarplayer9210 and then you say its not fair because they had brembos on the mustang. LAst time I checked breaks stop the car!

  • @guitarplayer9210 Aparently you don't know squat about cars because it's called zl1 not zr1 and second of all ford has that taken care of because the 2013 gt500 is 250 pounds lighter than the gt and 70hp more than the zl1 and the gt already smokes the ss so you do the math.

  • sorry but you really need to stop putting these to cars up against eachother, everybody knows the mustang is better.

  • What crushed the rock and made the ram cry? FORD!

  • Its 2012 and the Mustang still has a solid rear axle...

  • @kmk408ci And still handles better than a Camaro.

  • @jamesfs912 Drive a mustang over a rough road and then drive a Camaro over a rough road. I have, its a night and day difference. You can say that a 5.0 with the optional 3.73's is quicker than a Camaro off the line because its true. You can't go and say they handle better than the Camaro, or the Genesis, or the 370z, when theres no evidence to back up that assertion. The fact is that when both rear wheels are tied together with a steel tube, handling suffers.

  • @kmk408ci Solid rear axle that can still go around a corner faster than the camaro.

  • @kmk408ci that's what makes it special, and fun to drive

  • @grandinp if unpredictable at the limit is what you like then more power too you lol

  • @kmk408ci and it still handles better

  • @kmk408ci It's 2012 and the Camaro still has a push rod 16 valve V8 while the Mustang has a dual overhead cam 32 valve V8.

  • @twinimaging yeah but whose making more power... Pushrod > OHC

  • @cingular656 5.0 Liter Mustang @ 412 HP = 82.4 hp/liter

    6.2 Liter Camaro @ 426 HP = 68.7 hp/liter

Mustang has the more efficient and advanced motor - do the math!

  • @twinimaging Put a cam and heads in the Chevy: Get 100+hp per litre, Put 4 cams and a set of heads in the 5.0 and spend twice as much for half the gains... Plus, whats the largest you could take that 5.0 out to? 6.0 litres? You can buy a 454 LSX Block for 5k. You can't beat a pushrods engine's $ per HP return.

  • @kmk408ci If that's the case then why can Ford get 650 hp out of their 5.8 liter GT500 motor (112.1 hp/liter) and the Camaro ZL1 only gets 580 hp (6.2 Liter @ 93.5 hp/liter) for about the same price?

  • @twinimaging lol, because they supercharged it? The Zl1 motor does in fact make 650hp in the ZR1, its just been detuned to keep the Corvette at the top ;) Regardless, pushrods have a better hp per dollar ratio, its simple math: One cam is cheaper than 4

  • @kmk408ci The ZR1 is a $112K car. Besides, the Ford motor is still more efficient - 112.1 hp/liter vs. 104.8 hp/liter for the Corvette. It looks like Ford offers more bang for the buck - 4 cams and all. . .

  • @twinimaging I was simply stating that the only reason the Zl1 doesn't make 641hp is because GM didn't want to encroach on the Zr1's hp numbers. And when did this become about the Camaro ZL1 vs the GT500 and hp per litre? if you so concerned about that go buy a honda or a bmw. I thought we were talking about the 5.0 vs the Ls3? The fact is that you can't get 700hp N/A out of a Ford for twice the money you would spend on the Chevy, Pushrod engines are cheaper to modify, the end.

  • @kmk408ci You're the one who brought up all the modding and cost discussion. Most people don't mod their brand new $35K to $45K pony car; they don't want to spend any more money and/or they don't want to void the warranty. I was speaking, stock vs stock.

Originally, you made the assertion that the Mustang rear axle is outdated. I made the assertion that the Camaro push rod V8 is outdated. Both old tried and true solutions seem to work great for both cars.

  • @kmk408ci BTW - I drive a Nissan Versa base model with a 6 speed manual. I'm just driving my nephews 2012 5.0 Mustang while he is deployed overseas. He gave me his full blessing when he left. My favorite nephew.

You probably have a much more fun car to drive than my Versa. Maybe I should go ricer with the Versa. . . hmmmm. . .

    Take care!

  • @twinimaging

Never go ricer with a Versa, you probably get 40mpg with it! And with gas being $3.50 for 87 octane here at Fort Bragg in NC, God knows that a lot of us would love having a fuel efficient car, myself included. By the way, I wish your nephew the best of safety. My unit won't be seeing a deployment for a long while. Hell, when he comes back I'm sure he can buy you your own 5.0L Mustang :)

  • @phattacorider Super unleaded is running about $4.25 here in California. I'm real glad for the Versa's mileage. Good luck on your next deployment. We live near Camp Pendleton and know it is hard.

  • @cingular656 One more thing - Boss 302, 5.0 Liter @ 444 HP = 88.8 hp/liter

  • @kmk408ci

it's still 2012 and fords solid rear axle can still beat a camaros irs around a track

  • Mustang has always been and with always be the better car, anyone that disagrees show me your registration ill put you to shame.

  • @FMG9ridethepony7 I'm European so I'm a fan of BMW,MERC and AUDI. but you are right.

The Ford is and will always be the better car out of the two

  • @FMG9ridethepony7 "Mustang has always been and with always be the better car" ... about like your spelling and grammar have always been superior... FAIL. ;-)

  • @FMG9ridethepony7 w w w. youtube. com/watch?v=rNT2UijpCMs&feature=related

  • @FMG9ridethepony7 you have old and new 5.0 engines that beat the same year camaro. that's it buddy. my little 02 z28 has smoked new mustang GT's and SS's with just a few bolt on's ;)

  • Mustang for ever noobs

  • Disappointed in finding out that I bought the slower car

  • @drjd2real I'm looking for the faster and more reliable car, I currently own a 2008 Mustang Gt and I'm looking to upgrade. I want to go with Camaro cause it looks nice and it's fast and I want to go with Mustang because it's familiar you know? I've heard that the camaros are faster and I've heard the mustangs are faster and I've seen countless videos where it's 50/50 on who's faster and I guess you can see where my tough decision comes from. I just don't want to buy one or the other and be disa

  • @Meerscale504 If you want the faster quarter car, I'd say get the Mustang. Don't get mad when you run across a Camaro SS that you can't keep up with. This video might be a little misleading. The Camaro cost more because it is better built to last. The same reason a Chevy truck or suv cost more than a Ford truck, and yes I've owned both. Chevy is better. You probably don't care, but David Beckham, Kid Rock, Wade Wade, T.I., and Lebron James have Camaros. Why didn't they get the Mustang instead?

  • @Meerscale504 The Camaro looks better to me, and has a higher resale value. It really stands out when you add aftermarket wheels. Mustangs look plain as hell and everyone has one. These new one look almost the same as the last 2 body styles. The last Camaro looks nothing like the new one. There's a guys that just bought a 5.0 where I live and nobody cares. If you are tall get the Camaro.

  • Camaro is still, and always be the better car.

  • 1:16 Opps to Much Power

  • Does anybody know if the new Camaro gets more horses. I heard somebody say that but I'm not sure.

  • @e30pimp222 Zl1 i read has 520

  • @e30pimp222 New Camaro? U mean the ZL1? Yes it make ~580hp with a supercharger. The ZL1 is out to de-thrown the Ford Shelby GT 550

  • @Rapide0910 and ? that's what a car needs a good driver. not some computer doing all the work hell , look at the GTR. all that technology and it can't do 11.0 stock. all it can do is 11.1's (2012) constant. manual proves you know how to drive while auto proves you need help. there. manual all the way. here : NO BS 1/4 miles : /watch?v=r2EsAz2GCHo 10.66 stock on stock tires. /watch?v=woOqqfGtqHo 10.74 stock. there watch it and be amazed :P

  • @Bravo12RX Never mind that an auto never misses a shift and is faster. I drive manuals, my last car was a stick, my Jeep is a stick, the car I'm buying (Trans Am), however, is an auto. Built auto > stick shift.

As for the GTR, it's heavy and only in the 450 HP range.

  • @apharot auto's are for people who can't handle or drive a car IMO. manual all the way. gtr's are in the 500hp range. 2009-2008 were in the 480hp range.

  • @Bravo12RX Ah, now I see what you're saying... But all in all, when I get money soon, I'd just buy a supercar since it's already fast. Instead of worrying who beats me by only a few seconds and what is faster, I care less about speed; that's what a few mods are for.

  • @Rapide0910 yea void your warranty with the mods. corvette zr1 is the best stock for stock car you can get for under 150,000$. 10.66 in the 1/4 mile with a rwd 638hp car is great. and it doesn't need paddle shifters and or a dual clutch plates. just a basic manual transmission :P /watch?v=r2EsAz2GCHo .

  • Chevy people, always whine and cry when they lose, that's just the way they are. Bigger cubes, more horsepower, still losers. :P

  • mclraren f1 is 1993 and beats all cars in the world only bugati is close to him but still bugati 10 secs is faster. YEar has no competition in europe chevy sux. Ford rules.

  • @MakeSh00t that's why a ZR1 spanks most euro cars for alot less ? talk about the ZR1 being slow and you'll see a 10.74 sec 1/4mile.

  • No fair the camaro was burning out the first 10 secs of the race

  • @AyeJerBear theres no dif in the years!

  • How _not_ to launch a Camaro @1:16 (or any other car at the track for that matter).

  • @johnbellii Yeah, he should have used launch control to really kick that Mustang's butt!

  • I like both cars!

  • I've was raised in a Chevy family, but the Ford is quicker and the base 5.0 costs less than the base SS at all the dealerships around my hometown. I think I'd have to buy the Ford unless GM gets aggressive about pricing.

  • @jonzdad1 base gt wont have the track pack like in this video..

  • @jonzdad1 so no 3.73 gears or brembos

  • @1IImrxII1 It's good in a way. Everyone wants their muscle car to be the best and they fight for what they love. However, anyone that doesn't own any of the muscle cars are the ones that need to keep their mouths shut. Most of the these "Kids" saying how these imports like the R8 are all that and they'll never own one. So how do they know it's a good car? Never speak in the defense of a car you don't own.

  • @Terreos I would say that at the very least, people who want to have a ridiculously strong opinion about a particular vehicle should drive it before they thrown down all the way. There are so many cars that look good on paper, but then when you drive them, they're really not what you expected. I thought I was going to enjoy driving a 350z and 370z... but boy.. I did NOT. Although it's not as fast, the Hyundai Genesis 3.8 felt more pleasurable to drive than both the 350z and 370z.

  • Ford Chevy

  • 1:16 Terrible launch by the camaro driver...

    BACKPEDAL...GOOD LAWD...BACKPEDAL.

  • Why not compare the 11' SS to the 11' GT

  • @TDAlonzo81 No point...a 2011 Camaro is virtually the same as a 2010 model. The results would have been same.

  • @TDAlonzo81 the gt still wins

  • @TDAlonzo81 Because the 2010 SS and 2011 SS are exactly the same. Not a single hp or torque difference.

  • @TDAlonzo81 Cause there's no difference between the two.

  • @TDAlonzo81 wouldn't matter they're the same. the 2012 however has a stiffer suspension setup. still wouldn't help much

  • @gmrtg1414 it might be grade school to you but its not to others.i think its funny most of the time.people come up with things all of the time.as i told you before i dont hate gm or dodge.i prefer FORD.what i would prefer is the big 3 vs the rest.now i hate toyota, and those ricers.toyota was found out over 10 years ago about their issues and how they got over on the public.what i hate more than that is the politicians that tried to kill the big 3 for toyota and company.

  • @drfaticus Not true because i like the new ford 5.0 and the new eco boost trucks so your wrong.

  • @drfaticus Wait you the one stomping around like a girl . I would say your the one bent out of shape you need some tissue's

  • not bad on both but, being a Camaro guy of course the Stang is gonna win when his tires are grabbing and the Camaro's spun at the line in the 1/4 mile. The other guy will always win if his tires are grabbing and the other guys isn't, thats common sense!!!

  • I'd rather buy a 04 cobra, an beat both those cars :)

  • @22CODY11 for less money

  • @gmrtg1414 I think you know which I would end up with...but all insults aside, it's just personal taste. being as you said, a Ford fanboy, I think the 2005 Mustang is completely responsible for the Camaro and Challenger return, and I truly am happy they're both back...at least the Camaro, the Mustang needed it's rival back...

  • @gmrtg1414 Well , until GM killed the f-body in 2002, the Mustang would outsell both by 2 to 1, but was slower than both. Now there is no firebird and the mustang is faster than camaro, but the camaro outsells the mustang...Maybe the majority of people want the slower car?

  • @cannabotany Not sure just posted the sales numbers i would take either one I like them both

  • @cannabotany IKR?!

  • @cannabotany

Woah there hopscotch, don't get your panties in a bunch. I meant for the regular person. I mean, if your actually going to be drag racing, you would get more ponies under your hood. But you don't need super speed for going down a twisting and turning highway. Thats a good way to go straight into the ditch. And I know, that most people commenting don't go into drag races or straight runs, or even have either of these cars.

  • @drklotus13 thats a good one slowmaro,i like it.i had a 1985 capri back in the early 90s i use to let chevys take off first and still beat them.all i can say to chevy fans is super cobra jet 8sec car from the factory case closed................

  • @drklotus13 No you didnt

  • i love camaro

  • funny how the 2005 mustang comes out, and sells like crazy, GM and dodge need some of that cash badly...so they bring back the camaro and challenger, jumping on the band wagon with hideously overweight product. The camaro and challenger are too much, too late. Now with the 5.0 engine, gm and dodge are following the Mustangs lead literally and figuratively

  • @cannabotany Chevy Sold 17000 more camaro's this year than the mustang. I Love the new 5.0 but looks like the sales numbers are just the opposite of you you think

  • @gmrtg1414 Nice fantasy...show me proof of those numbers

  • @cannabotany Fantasy....thats where your at I think the mustang is a great car but camaro out sold it last year and killed it this year.

  • @cannabotany Here my numbers FORD FAN BOY. For the second straight year, the Camaro is expected to outsell its nearest rival, the Ford Mustang, and by an even bigger margin than in 2010, according to projections by Edmunds.com.

  • Camaro is just to damn heavy, they need to find a way to cut down on the weight like they did with the vette.

  • @xXBurntBaconXx The Camaro is on a full size car platform. Honestly it shouldn't even be considered a pony car anymore. It's a muscle car now lol.

  • i wanna see camaro 2011 and mustang 2011

  • i personally like mustang because of its sound. and because its fast but the chassy of the camaro is killer

  • save ur money... buy the faster car that will actually LAST. get a mustang

  • especially that end drag when they purposely roasted the tires on the camaro and left the traction control on the mustang so it could get a headstart on camaro

  • that just showes ford is detter than chevy

  • Lol this guy down here if i post a comment i bavk it up i have videos of the cars i have owned . 1/4 of them..

  • i really hope people realize the comments do not represent any particular mustang or camaro owners, these people are mostly stuck with riding the bus... hence they have youtube battles while waiting at the bus stop....between that boring dude commentating the video and these people enforcing their opinion on other people...man. wtf? can't we get along? mustang vs camaro is just like the 60s dude where everyone loved everyone who wasn't killing each other. don't make me turn this car around kids

  • MUSTANG WINS.......

  • @JDYDesigns I dont mean to butt in on this fight, but it would help your cause if you used correct spelling and grammer. You need a space between the period and the next word, the letter "I" should be capital when it is used for possesive use. And also, mindless swearing doesn't show how manly you are, it shows you cant control your anger and are weak the the mind.

  • @Tyfooo1 so im not the best speller in the world....? i only put the letters together to make room for another word. and, i only mindlessly swear because i can, really.

  • @JDYDesigns You pointed out 3 things, but I can tell 1 more about you. You are incredibly ignorant, you refuse to listen to my advise about spelling, it takes an extra few seconds to proof read your work, and changing an i to an I isnt to hard. Try to listen to others, it will help you alot

    .

  • @Tyfooo1 you put the wrong "to" it should have been "too" hahah

  • @JDYDesigns Yeah, I'm such a waste of time, you decided to keep arguing with me for like what? 3 days now. Dude, I've gotten enough information from you to know that you're a self-centered guy on the internet, who doesn't know the difference between fact and opinion, and gets pissed when people call you out on it. Deny it all you want, I know the truth bro. And finally, if i'm so useless to humanity, don't reply, or prove yourself a hypocrite.

  • @JDYDesigns You realize your writing to a 19 year old collage kid, who probably hangs out with a ton of other people when he's not working, right?

  • @man36021 who cares? i went to notre dame for buisness and law, thats a college. who cares?you do realise i have 90% of my entire county as loyal customers or friends, yes?

  • @JDYDesigns Okay then, you said I was forever alone, so I proved you wrong, if you don't care, don't make rash comments like that, and spare yourself some time.

  • Someone needs to tell that Camaro driver that you don't want to spin the tires half way down the track in a drag race.

  • @apharot you are right, and the ford started before the ss...

  • Im a ford man but both of these cars are beasts i would love to own either one of these beauties!

  • Why anyone would every buy a bail-out mobile I will never understand. Go with quality and buy a Ford.

  • @cadet58j Get a real car and buy a Daewoo!!

  • @JDYDesigns well first how can you say kids? i mean 16 and 17 years olds cant afford these cars hell even adults in there early 20s cant afford these cars yet. the camaro is just GM's performance pony car for the working man just like the mustang is. cruisers! nah not really back then but todays technology yeah you can cruise all day and still be reliable.

  • @1962Galaxie514ciMPFI no, but the idea was just to get them interested in them. who cars if kids buy any? its to set a life goal to work for a car, this is the gen thats supposed to save america.a hidden goal of GMs of bringing the camaro back. and the 69 camaro was a cruiser car in its day, that was the purpose in it. as the years went by, it became a performance car. it was then cancelled. now, they brought it back for the same purpose. so EVEN IF the mustang was faster, chevy still runs deep.

  • @JDYDesigns the camaro came out to compete with the mustang. back then camaros or mustang with V8s werent really cruiser friendly cars the 6cylinders and small block V8s with open diff was cruiser friendly yeah but one cant really argue that the camaro was brought back to get ppl buying american cars or for this generation to save america. really people are going to buy what ever they want and no matter what ppl will still buy ford gm and dodge vehicles. they all sell millions of cars yearly

  • @JDYDesigns your really going to say ford payed these critics money to say this stuff? really? c'mon man, motortrend is biased against ford products to begin with im suprised they gave the 2011 mustang good high marks on it. nobody payed anyone money to say stuff. the mustang is 200lbs lighter thats it and it actually makes 432hp at the crank not 412. each car has its own flaws neither car is perfect.

  • @1962Galaxie514ciMPFI they did, there is legit proof, i just dont remember where i got it lol and no, motor trend, from when i stopped reading, is the worst place to get information. lets say its all GM. they get a performance car, they test quality interior, comfortable ride, and driving ease. they get a luxury car/SUV,they test performance. they have their heads on backwards, then, when form comes along, they test them correctly. plus-have you ever drivin a mustang and then drove a camaro? i have

  • @JDYDesigns and another thing im a diehard ford guy but i really hate the mustang in general. but i cant wait until the 2014 model comes out it will be smaller and have IRS

  • tie

  • @1962Galaxie514ciMPFI to each his own taste, that what makes the US so great, is all our flavors. I love the new Mustang, and any other mustang v8 not made from1971 to 1986, but Ford did put considerable resources to developing the new Stang, Now, I'll bet they will come out with a competitor for the Chrysler 300/Dodge Charger. I can't look at a Crown Vic without thinking "cop car", and wondering if I have any weed on me

  • @cannabotany crown vics look lean and clean not too much lines going every which way, thats why i like crown vics, the new mustang is a huge accomplishment ford since 1979 bringing back the 5.0 V8. i just wish ford ohc engines had bigger bores on them, like the 6.2l sohc, but the new 5.0 is a big step towards great progress once again and even the 2012 5.8l.

  • @cannabotany i will say this though on your comment. you said you dont like the mustang V8s from 71-86 the 79 reintroduced the 302. the 71-73s had the 429CJ and SCJ motors and the 351 boss motors, those were really great engines but you must look at the 71-73 mustang body they were huge no wonder why they ran slower times, but i do recall seeing magazines articles and videos of stock 429 mustangs beating most of its rivalrys in the 1/4 mile tracks.

  • @1962Galaxie514ciMPFI as we established earlier, we have different taste. I prefer my racing with turns, left and right, so I tend to gravitate toward the smaller, more nimble Mustangs. That, and in my opinion, the gigantic, whale-like stature of the 71-73 offsets any big-block gain. And since I like handling over sheer strait-line brutality, I( just personal opinion) would be willing to trade big-block torque, for a high-reving small block and less weight

  • @cannabotany i like the motors but im not really into drag racing. i rather see cars track race, but i want to see big blocks race unfortunately that wont happen again.

  • @1962Galaxie514ciMPFI i agree i dont like drag racing so much
