Amazingly beautiful. Thank you so very much for creating this video and sharing it with us all. If I may ask, where might the picture at 3:23 be found? God Bless!
@reinwitgsus: So Mary didn't do the will of God? Or are you saying that Mary is no more special than anyone else who's done the will of God? How do you account for the passages in Luke 1 where the angel and Elizabeth, filled with the Holy Spirit, announce "Blessed are you among women?"
All who do the will of God is Jesus' brother, sister, mother, etc. You have no arguments there. Still, Mary was his birth mother. We are adopted--she is his blood relative.
So why in Mark 3:35, did Jesus say ; "Whoever does the will of God, is my brother, and my sister, and mother". Now, either Jesus is wrong or Catholics have gotten this wrong... Which is it? You are not both right... This needs to be worked out prior to you dying and facing Him!
@scilynx2 thank you! :) I'm sorry I don't know where the altar is, I don't think it is at Lourdes though.. I just found the picture online.. God bless!
This is just wonderful, the music and the pictures are perfectly chosen, and I suspect you must have digitally enhanced the pictures as well, which is just lovely. Nicely done !!
BEAUTIFUL, allow me one important correction: In Johns gospel, after Jesus told the disciple :"Behold your mother" the text says : From that HOUR and not from that time on. The difference is crucial for exegesis because the term HOUR was key in the 2 scenes (CANA and CROSS)where Mary is mentionned in Johns gospel: My HOUR hasnt come yet in Cana refers to the HOUR of crucifixion and glory. At the same HOUR, Mary is given as Mother to the believers.
O Mary, Mary more beautiful than all creatures, lovely after Jesus above all loves, more dear than all created things, gracious above every grace, pity this miserable heart of mine; miserable because it does not love thee; and it ought to love thee. Thou canst inflame it with thy holy love. Turn, O Mary, thy loving eyes upon me; look at me, and draw me to thee; and grant that after God I may love no other but thee, most gracious, most amiable Mary, Mother of Jesus, and my Mother.
