Master and Ride are 2 of the great metal albums of ever and ever. Indisputable. And Justice is pretty damn good too.... but after And Justice, Metallica sucked sucked sucked the big one.

And I think thats because Cliff really wrote most of the songs up to that point.

I don't why the hell Metallica turned to the radio for recognition. They were already famous when they got Bob Rock (doubt that's his real name) and started trying to make radio friendly music. The first 3 Metallica albums were masterpieces. I still love RTL & MOP. That was great stuff! Kill 'Em All was raw & powerful.

As one magazine writer has said, the loss of Cliff Burton has hurt Metallica and the loss of Steve "Steamin" Clark has also hurt Def Leppard. Both Def Leppard & Metallica are very good friends, and alot of their equipment managers & roadies work for one band when the other is not touring.

I'd like to see both bands come back to kick ass!!
