Keep the great videos comming! Question... does the red dot on the aimpoint line up with the front site post? I am trying to figure out what mount to use so the dot is over the front site post. thank you.
@Composer1777 I would consider back iron sights, and flash hider to be rather important. Optics are always nice to have. I can live without the vertical grip and that many rails, but the suppressor depends on what I have going on that day. It is not a minumalist set up for sure, which I prefer, but I do not see anything that is usless on it.
@MrBonebus Uh, dude I didn't know they made sub-sonic rounds for the AR.... I don't think they do. They do make lower-powered rounds for silenced ARs because more gas tends to blow back from the silencer. So, those rounds should cycle fine WITH the suppressor on but would not cycle necessarily without a suppressor. If you're going to shoot sub-sonic rounds get yourself a .22 LR.
iv heard of sub sonic for the ar. they dont cycle the bolt, but some guns may help with that. i dont know, just trying to pass on what iv heard. could be wrong. im in california, so iv gotta wait til im LEO or SWAT to own all the cool toys.
@MrBonebus OH wow. Well you probably know more about it than I do then. So you want the weapon to cycle with the silencer and the .22 kit....I would think that it would cycle better....seems most of those kits are blowback operated.
@thegangvault2 the funny think is is the .22 kit can cycle the rounds 9/10 times. my problem i think is the lack of gas. i dont know anything about the cycling system of the ar-15 tho. so thats why I havent messed with it yet. I'll post a vid soon showing what i mean.
@MrBonebus Hm, I think that makes perfect sense; you see if you use a really low-power 5.56 or .223 round, the gas is tapped off and run through the gas tube into the bolt, but if you use the .22 conversion, the gas does not have to operate the bolt in that way, since it is just the pressure from the round going off that cycles the bolt. Still not sure why you would use such a low power .223 instead of a .22. Dude there's all kinds of target .22 loads that are sub sonic (1000 fps or so)
@GunWebsites The light, the foregrip, the handguard shields. Considering its daytime, you have a NON nightvision sight and a flashlight on the rifle. I don't really understand that you might as well take the sight off and use the irons in that case.
@GunWebsites It's just need to be touched by Chuck Noris and you won't need any optics, irons, lights and or suppressor you can will the gun to hit where you want it to, the rifle will be more quiet than a mime, your eyes will have night vision and they can zoom out to a billion lightyears. :)
I know you need to have the NFA paper work with the gun, and I guess it's not a bad idea to keep it in the stock, but what happens if the gun is stolen? I don't own anything that's NFA, so IDK what the paperwork entails, but besides writing down your firearms serial #, what's the procedure if your NFA firearm is stolen with its paperwork? Is it like a car title that needs to be signed over and go to DMV(in this case ATF) for a transfer with the tax?
It's not ParaCord, it's shock Chord (bungee). Used for dressing a sling before racking the weapon. Comes in handy when you take a class or shoot a match where there is lots of racking and unracking of weapons. I've also been known to keep an Israeli Bandage in that spot.

MasterTaters 6 months ago
@MasterTaters
Why take off the vertical grip and rail covers?
Exposed rails don't feel too good when you try and hold onto them, and the vertical grip defiantly helps to stabilize the weapon.
And you want the sight OFF? Are you crazy, irons over a sight?
Lol I laugh at you.
