@MultiDannyboy89 Yes and no. I'll say this: it definitely has a much higher production value than most of their previous works, but it's still quite good. A lot of people accused them of selling out for signing to Roadrunner for this album, and let's face it...I don't think that Opeth are really capable of selling out. I'll admit, Heritage is taking some time to grow on me, but even what I feel is their worst(Watershed) is amazing. God, I fucking love this band....

Watershed exemplified a greatly improved compositional style which dabbled heavily in jazz as well as classical mentalities and used a theme to conjoin the whole album.
