These are reviews based upon stock. If they only took in consideration of Custom Mods. My Samsung Epic 4G from 2010 is still faster than a Nexus S. Even Though its dual core mine is OC'ed to 1.5GHz and GPU OC'ed to 400MHz my games play better and etc... Plus we have ICS finally but seeing how it came wit 2.1, then 2.2, then 2.3 and now un official 4.0.3. Plus not to to mention on a stock 1500 mAh battery. I can run my phone a day with moderate use.

Sorry Aaron I don't usually disagree with you on these things and you are the grand high exalted of phone guru's BUT. The size is too much, get a tablet if you want a tablet. Also Galaxy Nexus has 1. ICS 2.much better portability 3. I like the way it auto corrects. 4. Love the voice to text feature....ah but then I've never had a Galaxy Note in my hand..I'm also bound in blood for two years to VZW ..sooooo I'll keep my GNexus and be happy. Until The Note gets a fully functional stock ICS ROM.... it loses :-p. I'm a Samsung fan and own Gtab 10.1, The Note and the GNexus. My Note is collecting dust. Android 4.0 makes the Nexus a better phone IMO and the Note feels like a little tablet more than a phone. That's the reason I'll pick up my 10.1 and not the Note..... and before anyone ask, I already have a buyer for the Note. Its a great device don't get me wrong but its not for me. Different strokes for different folks.

The latest update for SGNote gives you an option for a smaller one-handed keyboard/dialer. They also added a fifth row above for number keys in the Samsung Keyboard.

It also seems to have removed the majority of lags. +1

I like the galaxy note in terms of performance but the size is over the top. I'd prefer the galaxy notes hardware inside the body of the galaxy nexus. That would be the perfect phone for me!

Although my Xperia mini does get 2460 points on quadrant standard :) only problem I have with my phone is that its a little on the small side.

The only problem with the note is the size, but with the nexus we have the batery and the camera. And on the note we have unique features like the sPen and the capacitive screen, when on the nexus we only have ICS, but in just a few days most of the high end phones will get it so... I vote for the note!

I'm almost certain that both the nexus and note use pentile screens. Regardless there really isn't a choice for Verizon customers to get the note but att customers can get both. I'd honestly give up lte for the exynos chip in both of these phones. Although my gsm nexus does just fine without it, but it would be much better with it.

i'm starting to hate android phones, i have a galaxy S with 2.2 and the OS keeps on crashing, getting all sort of errors, now i've upgraded to 2.3.4 and hope that this one will not crash.Before this i had a k800i and had no problem with it. I kind of miss the old phones, with the custom os.They could last for 5-6 years without any sort of software problem. These days you got to buy a new phone every year.All phone look like Iphone copies, nothing original...it sucks.
