Never really heard of them until I saw them with Deep Purple and Peter Frampton at Plymouth - They were by far the best band on the night, an amazing live band - the singer and lead guitar really know how to work a crowd - Deep Purple were going through the motions and Peter Frampton was in love with his own Guitar playing.

Sure they have at some point... they released their debut album in 1989 (entitled Back Street Symphony), and split in 2000... after a couple of solo and joint projects, they reformed in 2002, and are still producing some fantastic stuff - the majority of their entire catalogue is thanks to the songwriting talent of Luke Morley, and married with one of the most distinctive voices in the business from Danny Bowes...

Have to agree that thunder absolutely do the best live gigs! unfortunately they never made it as one of the big bands like GnR, and are very rarely spoken about. They are still going though so i suggest if you like this song book some tickets now!

I saw them first in about 1988 when they supported Aerosmith on tour and blew Aerosmith off the stage. They also had an encore support Heart the next year. Most definetely under-rated. really glad they have reformed.
