  • I have psoriatic spondylisis. When I take methotrexate it knocks me down for 24 to 36 hours. This laying down aggravates my spine and my left SI joint and low back throb. Just saw this and tried it and like he said, it was almost instant relief.

    Drink water before you do this. For this particular exercise, it takes just a few minutes and you will feel relief almost immediately. Drink water again after doing to clear the toxics.The relief should last you a few hours and pain totally gone ( depending on how serious is your back). You should not be doing this continuously. Not necessary anyway. However, if you start to feel uncomfortable doing too much, naturally you will stop. This is a naturally program

    This definitely will ease your pain greatly. In addition, there are other acupoints you would need to work on to further improve your lower pain. In our program, we incorporate a series of back exercise program to further strengthen your back.     Try the technique used in the video. It is important that you listen to your body. Not sure how serious is the accident, but if you do not get better, then better see a doctor as there may be other complications

  • I was born with an extra vertebra in my lower back. I'm always in pain. Just tried this and it's helping. It's not gone, but it's not as bad as it was. I've started to block the pain out as well though.

  • how do i cure sciatica? ive been looking for info and cures all day and ive had it for months now and the pain got worse. its been hurting in my left leg for months now and now today i have a new pain in my back and i think they are both sciatica related. im only a kid and i dont know what to do. also my parents are ass holes and they dont believe me.

  • @Adri27Ang Can you go to some doctor by yourself and tell all your pain or if you go to a school, ask your teatcher if the school have a doctor, then your parents understand you have problems with your back...I hope you found help! you shall not have so mutch pain,its something you must tell somebody so you can see a doctor.

  • Do you think carpal issues have a connection to back pain? I have osteopenia and carpal tunnel radial and DDD lumbar region and herniated L5-S1 with annular tear. and on disability unable to walk too far or stand too long in one spot How many days to heal doing this? Now does this acupressure actually heal the annular tear? or just release endorphins? Or does it actually heal the tear or supply blood flow. Thanks. Can' t afford book.. Any more free tips? Thanks.   • My understanding of Carpal Tunnel is over use of muscles eg. using the computer mouse too much and cause the strain in the muscles. The acupoints in the video you watch gives you pain relief but not strengthen the muscles of your mentioned problem. Specifically for back pain eg L4, L5, I have detailed acupressure programs in my book to strengthen the muscles surrounding the spine. Acupressure helps by releasing the blockages and tension in the body and the body heals itself naturally.

  • @ancestorscher : I'm not a doctor but imho if you have carpal tunnel beware how much pressure you apply to the acupoints near the wrist (and in your case near the base of the thumb since its radial) as it may aggravate your condition. Acupressure probably works on the muscular and nervous system to relieve the pain receptors, but any mechanical problems and deficits would require individualised care.

  • @ancestorscher : (con't) E.g. if you have an annular tear, light massage and stretching would improve blood flow and speed up the healing process.

    Re: osteopenia and the herniated disc, avoid applying any pressure directly or indirectly on the spine i.e. loads on the back, massaging directly on the spine, thumping of back etc.

    In the long term, low impact, weight bearing (probably bodyweight or lighter e.g. aqua-aerobics) exercise would help with bone density and muscle stability issues

  • If your back hurts, it is either you have a back injury or you do not enough warm up exercise. Have a good rest rather than doing vigorous exercise to aggravate the back. When you do what the videos says, the pain will go away but you need to do back exercises to strengthen the back and have good postures. All these are covered in my Back Pain Free Days program

  • I take bath one time a day , kind of hot, and massage it with Bengay Creams, and keep it warm. I really didnt hurt my back during the workout, and as a matter of fact I felt really good.   • There are many reasons. It is important that you do some warm up exercises before doing your workout. Also, you daily postures are also important as wrong postures give you stress to your back. I include Correct Posture chapter in my eBook ie Back Pain Free Days.

  • @keagleeye seems that the 60 day workout has pounded your body pretty hard, perhaps giving it more time (few more days?) to recover would be much more beneficial than working out so soon again.

    If you want to work out so soon after it would be prudent to just do lighter maintenance workouts. Also, focusing on more rear chain exercises (crunches and pushups tend to favour the frontal muscles imho) like back plank and deadlifts after the rest period could help balance out the back strength.

  • Hi .. Im 18 years old, im pretty athletic, and been doing insanity beach body workout for sixty days. After I finished it, I just worked out on my own two days after. It was jugging, push ups, skipping , and some abs workout ( not crunches or situps, just in C position and bycicles mostly). The tomorrow after I worked out when I was in my class, in the second block, my back started to ache( sides of my spine and low). and when I bend over or kinda twist abit, it hurts. What should I do?

  • When the body hurts, it is telling you to give it a rest before things turn worse. Extreme workout can cause a lot of stress to the body especially the back. So, take a good rest and gradually build up your muscles.

  • More painful does not necessarily mean more serious.The only way to tell how serious you back injury is to go for an MRI. It is best you consult a back specialist if you are worried.
