It's pretty simple. M5 is stock. My car is not (except the engine). AP Racing brakes + Pagid RS29 ceramic brake pads helps a little :-)

@bbaggy that's the dumbest thing i've ever read. 1) the m5 driver wants to freak his/hers passengers out as much as possible 2) you can't drive well on the ring by just following a leading car, you have to plan your driving way in advance and know the track 3) the m5 is stock apart from the front pads, but is a more modern design with around 500hp, following it with a 330 is impressive even with the mods. I get passed by almost all cars on the ring in my stock 330.

@fredrikolsson i highly doubt the m5 is being driven as hard as the 330 is in this video. reason is because they have 1-3 extra people in the car that are liabilities and it keeps everything safe without running on the edge. i mentioned "people freaking out" because there's a difference between people being entertained and really fearing that they are going to crash. too many people compare their cars to the M cars especially when the M cars are taking it easy. like i said, it's fun to dream.

You can partially cure it with adjustable sway bars (adjust it to a harder setting at the rear), increased front negative camber (-2°) and maybe wider front tires.

It's not a stock 330Ci. This one has AP Racing brakes, PSS9 shocks, big sway bars, 255/35 tires all round (though not semi slick, PS2), a lot of negative camber, bucket seats and partially stripped down interior. That's the reason why I write "better handling and brakes" ;)

It was not Sabine in the M5. There is several ring-taxi drivers and this one is obviously not the fastest. Already tried to follow Sabine with my 330Ci "special" but I couldn't :-D

La piste est parfaitement numérisée dans GT4. Ca permet de savoir ou on va la première fois qu'on y va. Mais ça ne permet en aucun cas de vraiment s'entrainer, un jeu vidéo même excellent reste un jeu ! Pour ce qui est de la peur... il doit me manquer une case ;-)

Il faut faire une cinquantaine de tours pour commencer à connaître la piste. Au moment de la piste, j'avais du déjà en faire 250. Avant d'aller au Ring, j'avais fait quelques centaines de tours dans GT4. Ca permet juste de reconnaitre le tracé mais c'est utile.
