I've been a DJ(progressive & nu skol breaks, progressive house, classic trance, ambient, & anything intelligent) for over 10 years. When I got into DJing, goa trance, electrohouse and, sadly, acid techno were on there way out.

Of all the music I've listened, acid techno is the genre I've had the most respect for. Acid techno (the Pump Panel comes to mind) is the most visceral of all genres. It's not for faint of heart. Give me music with a 303 & 909-watch a dance floor get decimated.

I disagree. Acid techno sounds pure, I find it hard using the word pure when it comes to dubstep.

The Acid sound has stood the test of time were talking nearly 30 years and it's still going strong.

It starts off warm and analogue, the beats build and flow though my 50mm drived headphones i twist the bass knob up and i can feel the fine hairs in my inner ear trying to cope with the hertz and the hairs on my arms stand on end. My heart rate now starts to rise, the 303 knob is slowly leaning to decay and my eyes are a blur, i am hunched over this forgotten to many tools of sound, The precise 4/4 Beat drops and drops heavy, weighing my eyes to a close, I AM AN ANALOGUE GOD.
