  • Overall, good stuff, however some minor errors in the presentation.. Kudos though for getting the main message out there.

  • FACT: high blood sugar is a cause of heart disease, why? because blood sugar damages arteries.

    FACT: there are two types of LDL, LDL type A is raised when you eat meat and saturated fat LDL type A is GOOD FOR YOU

    LDL type B which is from transfat and processed cooking oil such as corn oil is bad for you.

    FACT: statins are bad for you because they lower GOOD cholesterol they do however lower inflammation, which is a major cause of heart disease, but the trade off is terrible. Statins kill

  • Heart disease is caused by STRESS. Nothing else.

    Worrying about fat being bad for you, causes stress. Eat saturated fats, meat, protein and good leafy vegetables. The latter will provide all the carbs you need. Leave out bread altogether. Two slices of bread give higher sugar spikes than two tablespoons of sugar. Sugar that isn't used for energy is stored as fat. Fat is better. Any excess fat you eat isn't stored. It's passed out in the normal way. Grains are the gremlins. Sugar is the sinner

  • You know I've 2 old parents that depend on statins, otherwise they'd probably be dead. My dad eats a pound of butter a week, no lie.

  • @pipercolt1963 I'm serious. Three years ago I decided to quit eating my low-fat diet based on info from a couple of books. I just had blood work done and and my cholesterol numbers improved immensely. Trig-42, HDL-84, LDL-89, Total Chol-181.
