  • i have a 5 month old bandogg bronx is his name his mother was a blue nose pit father a bull mastiff he looks like an american bully pup basically his temperament is great he also could resemble an old angelical bulldogge either way he is a great pupppy

  • great dane is an exelent addition to a bandog programme, one of the most athletic and underestimated of all large dogs.

  • can sum1 tell me wat exactly a bandog is??

  • @hazEiNmYdutch

A bandog is any cross between a bulldog and a mastiff. It can be any type of bulldog and any type of mastiff. It's a catch-all term, really.

  • my bandog has, english bulldog, american pit, and american mastiff, the mother of mine is full blooded american mastiff, and the father is english bulldog/american pit

  • whats the mix in your banddogs?

  • Mostly I use

    Dane

    Game bred APBT

    Neapolitan Mastiff

But the male in this video is that plus an out cross to Bullmastiff, the female has the main three plus an outcross to Bullmastiff and Bordeaux.

  • @MidgardKennels nice dogs man!!!

  • Thirteen Years Among the Wild Beasts of India By G. P. Sanderson who s book mentions bull mastiff x bull terrier pack was used for hunting purpose of large game and 7 of dogs brought down baby elephant i believe whose were first bandogges used for hunting

  • @044930 That story is far fetched. I don't doubt that the dogs could take down a baby elephant. But how would they get so close to a baby elephant without being chased or killed by the mother? Did the hunters kill the mother before the dogs attacked the baby?

  • hello hes a vdry good looking dog i have a french mastiff (female) and a brindle pit (male) i was wondering whether to breed them but i cant find any pics of what they look like online does any body know thanxs

  • There is a bordeaux X pit named Tito on youtube. Remember, red is recessive so unless your pit carries for it you won't have red pups.

  • Very nice remind me of Pakitani Bully Kutta's slightly smaller version.

  • what kind of cross are you running if you don't mind me asking

  • Great Looking Dog. Real Bandog or Bandogges are Male Real APBT to Female Neo Mastiffs

  • Actually, a bandog is any Mastiff, bulldog cross. The word Bandog or Bandogge, is and old english word that gets the "ban" from the saxon word "banda" meaning strap, band or chain. The "Dogge" comes from old french meaning powerful dog or mastiff. So bandog means "chained-mastiff". Even Shakespeare mentioned bandogs in Henry the Sixth:

Deep night, dark night, the silent of the night,

    The time of night when Troy was set on fire;

The time when screech-owls cry and ban-dogs howl,

  • Shakespeare wrote that in the late 1500s, before the APBT was even bred, and of course there weren't any Neos in England at the time. Then bandogs were crosses between the English mastiff, which was very different from today's English mastiff, and a type of English bulldog that doesn't exist anymore.

While a good working Neo crossed to a good game bred pit can make some good dogs they are no more "real" than any other bandogs. A lot of people mistake the "Joe Lucreo" type for the only type.

  • @MasterOfAllBulldogs I have a male APBT bred to a female Cane Corso the pup is now an adult he is 94lbs, solid blue, too dog aggressive. He is ready for a new home to an experianced mastiff and pitbull owner.

  • My program uses Dane, Neo, APBT, Bullmastiff, and Bordeaux, though not all of my dogs have all of that in them. I also just got a new dog to outcross to that will introduce English Mastiff and Tosa Inu as well. There's no real "recipe" for these dogs - if a dog has something to offer I'll consider using it.

  • @MidgardKennels I have a cane Corso/ Blue APBT not a bully Bandog he is 94lbs and will be put down next week if not found a home. Deffense and Prey driven makes a great gaurd dog but is dog aggressive. Send me a message if you no anyone looking he is solid blue and nuteured and three years old.

  • @MidgardKennels in that case youre breeding one of the healthiest lines ive ever seen because you arent close minded, an excellent idea and point of view on your dogs, i cringe when i see my buddy breeding his studs daughter for his next litter.... "pure bred" doesnt mean shit to me its the health thatll give me the years and performance i want in a dog, great looking dogs man, you wont have the crossed eyes and hip problems like those posh breeders with a stick up the ass

  • Mostly I use

    Dane

  • imuh make a V. game where this kind of dog is yours to keep . . only in the game ive bred it wit mastiff juice . . . gets so big the chrcter you play as rides it like a horse. . . he becomes yur horse and is yours to train . once you EARN the dog whistLe . . .

  • im not in the market yet, but how much do you usually sell for?

  • Each puppy is individually temperament tested for working ability and drive, and the results of the tests determine the price. For a pet quality dog usually 500, for working quality 750, guard quality 1000 and personal protection quality 1500.

  • great looking dogs
