"The solution for the Kyoto norm?????" Who is this stupid to say that??????. Of course, you can power a car with compressed air but it is the most stupid way to do it, as you need much more energy and will emitt much more CO2 at the end.
"this french engineers got visions " Visions"????? You call this a vision???? I call this a-wannabe-inventor-wants-to-steal-money-from-investors-and-does-not-think-his-stupid-concept-through-for a-second
Compressed air the worst and least efficient carrier of energy. To store 14.3 kWh at 300 bar in 300 l (90 m3 at 1 bar) reservoirs, u need at least 93 kWh on the compressor side (with an optimum compressor working on the ideal adiabatic limit and assuming a 100% efficiency of the engine, which is not in practice. Most of the energy is dissipated as heat).14 kWh is a bit less than 1 l of gasoline. So this Negre guy is either stupid or criminal.
u still pay for the air see they should invent a car that runs on air when driving it sucks air and works like that so u can drive 100000 hours with out refueling see not that cool (but nice car and the way they get air is a genarator that is not eco and causes air polution)
When those cars run out of air after 2-3 miles. You can fart into it and it will run for another 2-3 feet. Nothing but a bunch of junk and fake promises to scam really gullible investors.
Yeah, an engineers that have an understanding for simple physics at all. You know that, just scramble the whole car. Will be better for everybody, because there are still many unintelligent and stupid persons who could fool by telling them that this stupidity is a "green" car by which you save the world, hihihihi. Or a car that works at all!
The US is still one of the biggest polluters and certainly one of the biggest consumer of natural resources. Let's be fair about this. China and India are just starting to be a big problem, the US has been a problem environmentally speaking for several decades.
I think you are speaking from old information. The controls on emissions from cars and industry that were implemented a few years back, both state and federal, have make a significant impact. Also the old polluting smokestack companies have gone to other countries. This air car will sell very well in the United States of America.
The US is still in the top 3 of the world's worst polluters and one of the biggest consumers of natural resources. If you look around on the US roads you see SUVs, big trucks and big cars. Americans seem to NOT want to do anything to help the 'cause' if it means sacrificing anything. Yes, there have been advances in the former "smokestack" factories, but there are still many problems with individual consumers. Sorry, I'm an American, so I'm not some foreigner slamming the US. I love the US.
Please cite your reference for your statement of "The US is still in the top 3 of world's worst polluters." I couldn't find the US on the top ten list of countries with pollution.
You should return to the USA and I believe that you would be pleasantly surprised. There is a viable and vibrant green movement in the US today. I have noticed the improvement in the air and water. I live in New Jersey and we have had the most severe of the pollution. I can tell you we now have the strictest standards for car emissions and industrial pollution. There has been tremendous progress.
Statistics are easy to make say what you want. Almost everyone in the US has a car or truck and most are BIG vehicles. Every time I visit the US I'm shocked and ashamed. The rest of the world is starting to emulate our irresponsible behavior and even if we're not the most polluting countries in the world NOW, we have been and 'per person' still are.
Progress is limited and questionable at best. Too little too late is more appropriate in my humble opinion. Peace.
Well in my life and I'm 62, there has been tremendous improvement in the rate of car emissions because of the federal and state regulations to curb pollution. As far as statistics go we aren't even in the top ten polluted countries. For a major industrial county that is impressive. Within the next several years with plug in hybrid and air powered cars from France you will see even more improvement.
Hahaha ... how brain amputated one has to be to think that this shitty compressed air stupidity solves any energy problem??? Ah, because this shit doesn't emit CO2 when driving??? Ah, and who or what compresses the air??? Really, how brain amputated one needs to be.
And please, this shit is certainly no 'new technology' or "smart invention", but the latest rubbish from France that does not work. Please, Frenchies, do us a favor and cultivate wine!
What is a stupid concept remains a stupid concept.

Or, if one is completely ignorant to science and does not know how to measure physical units properly, one would have been at least honest and sincere enough to study history to see whethere air cars already existed or not (and more importantly, why they were rubbish then as well).
Otherwise, you (or these stupid scammer who came up with the air car concept) would have made at least some thoughts on the thermo-dynamical concepts behind the air car. Or one would have measured how much energy you need to compress air and how much get out of it. Then one would have found that the air car is complete rubbish.

5 mile range 6 hours to fill the tank using a 6kw compressor. Cost of electricity about $3 to go a theoretical 20 miles. It's a CON

Kyoto is useless if the countries that produce the most polution without regulation like China and Inda are not signed on!

The west (The U.S. is the largest contributor of greenhouse gases) actually produces more greenhouse gases then India, China.
