Actually I wasn't thinking in terms of the religious affiliation of the people who lived there thousands of years ago, but only of the last one hundred years. Many Arabs were pushed off the land and are now refugees, so of course they and their descendents are unhappy. It reminds me of what happened to the Native Americans when the Europeans arrived.
