In some countries people don't wear as much clothes or cover themselves as much as others and don't have all the brand name suncreens, so I ask you do they always get sun cancer>?
@marketofideas They perhaps have darker skins, or they are used to the sun, even though you never know. Excessive sun exposure is dangerous for anyone. I don't understand why white, beautiful girls want to be dark, conversely, why some dark girls want to be white and blond!
I'm referring to girls, but this also applies to men.
You need sensible summer sun exposure folks. A half hour in the noon day sun in the summer two or three days a week in a swimsuit is plenty. Just don't overdo it. Don't use sunscreen. It is bad for you and prevents Vitamin D formation.
To get the right amount of Vitamin D from the sun you only need at least 5 minutes each day in the sun. You should ALWAYS wear sunscreen in the sun, don't be so stupid. Some people burn VERY easily and need it all the time anyway.
UV rays from tanning beds mutate the DNA in our skin cells, often irrepairably and breaks up the elastin fibers that give skin a youthful appearance. This leads to increased risk of skin cancers and a 100% risk of premature aging of the skin (wrinkles, leathery-type skin, increased pore size, etc.). Don't believe it? Look at the skin of faithful tanners when they are 40 years old.
This is a propaganda video designed to persuade you to avoid sun exposure and designed to persuade you to use sunscreen. Do not believe this crap. It is a lie. Sensible sun exposure WITHOUT SUNSCREEN is good for you and your children. It is necessary for good health.
@ty99999returns Of course! it is a matter of common sense, you just expose yourself to the sun as you do your things, menaing you NEVER GO AND LAY DOWN IN THE BEACH FOR HOURS AND HOURS!
It was good to see your video on skin cancer. I do think all skin cancers and what parts of your body they can affect should be made known to the public.
After being diagnosed with a rare gynae cancer, also a skin cancer (Squamous Cell Carcinoma) I do think the public should be made aware of all "skin cancers".
