@ruttymotox14 the ring he used hold the two stick in place and when the line is pulled the ring comes off the two sticks and the resistance from the little trigger stick is released causing the trap to work simple :)

Instead of using the two smaller sticks, would it be possible to tie the "Stake" up with a shoelace knot and put one of the strings across the pathway? that way when its pulled the knot will come loose and the stake will fly down.
