I really don't like having to post this but it looks like people still don't get it.

People say techno and everyone knows what we are talking about, people say hardcore, house, trance, etc and only fans know leaving other people to only ask questions, techno is a general term meaning Electronic sounding music as well a genre on it's own.

I agree. Techno is simply the main genre, and hardcore/house/trance/etc. are the sub genres. They are basically all just one genre. Hardcore, house, and trance/etc... are simply STYLES of Techno. I hate it when people can't figure that out, even after being explained what those sub genres are.
