luclin the torches were burn out because of the /time set command the time affects the redstone torches causing them to burn out so no more /time set 0 and you will be fine ok

Luclin, the problem you were having with the T-flip flop, was that you were only replacing one torch and not both. Both need to be changed or the burnt out one will burn out the other.

This glitch is caused by servers being slower than normal singleplayer worlds.Its also to do with the direction since blocks update faster in difrent dirrections,in this case the redstone updated too fast causing the torches to burn out a bit like one of those infinate loops you can do with redstone.

i think the t flipflop bug is to do with the input also powering the blocks the torches are on so when it updates in a certain order to do with the position the torches are updated twice at the same time causing the burn out, re positioning the t-flipflop works but its easier to raise the block so the red stone input is level with the red stone on top.

@GuitarjonazZ Both work as when power is given it changes the states twice, the piston touching the block(while on the off state) is able to move the block and replace it with the extended face and because the other piston cannot push the block because the other is blocking the space, it stays retracted and will change the state of the output because of the extended piston being a non-solid block and not being powered to affect the redstone line next to it whereas stone brick is a solid block.
