  • Wonderful, Thank You

  • Most of my ancestors are from Germany, mostly Bavaria. My last name, Feterl, has Bavarian origins, but was spelled Federl before my great great grandfather left the village of Klessberg, in the region of Leuchtenberg, in the year 1880. I want to go visit Munich during Octoberfest, and then possibly the Leuchtenberg region during christmas.

  • SIGH! I miss Christmas time when I lived in Germany from 1988-91 which were probably the best 3 yrs of my life. Love the lifestyle, the food, the beer, the history! Can't wait to go back for a visit in a couple of years!

  • I had a smile plastered on my face for most of this video

I love Germany. I love him so much.

  • Sadly this video isnt filmed at night, I go at Christmas markets only at night because then its magical ;D

  • My mother is from Schweinfurt and I had the privilege of visiting there when I was twelve! I will never forget the experience! LOVE GERMANY! I am proud to be 1/2 German!

  • Germany is amazing...my family is from there...i live in Canada as a 27 year old. I want to live in Germany.

  • My father grew up in Germany, and every other year we spend Christmas there. We go to Lubeck for the market, (which is fantastic) then we drive to my grandmother's house for a proper German dinner finished with church and present opening. It's absolutely beautiful. Then, in the morning I snowball fight with my cousins and we play with our toys. Ich liebe Deutschland. :)

  • This is what I remember as a kid. The Christ child comes on the evening of the 24th. Santa comes on December 6th. Oh how I miss my home at Chrstmas time.

  • Thanks Rick. You rock, man!

  • Does anyone know the name of the song the choir sings at the end?

  • @Aggie98bqn: "Es ist für uns eine Zeit Angekommen"

    Josef Estermann (1933)

  • Germany is another country in Europe I like. I know a lot of people with German heritage in them. My dad and I have some German blood in us, as a matter of fact.
