@locutz These little handy cam videos have never been able to transmit deep bass cleanly. You can't say its not well done because the camera cannot capture the deep bass. If you have a system in your car try it. Play some deep bass and then shoot it with a little sony cybershot and it will sound like this. WIll has too much track record of quality to assume he would let anything go out of his shop that isnt super clean

On this system: I like it :) 8s are a good choice, Gonna be tight. Killer for double kick in metal and such. I probably would have tried 2 8s and a 12 or 13. The bigger sub for "Sloppy" rap bass :P

Install looks amazing. Great job on detail. I'm not sure why you are comparing the 8's to the 15's. If the point was that the 8's are smaller and you managed to get the sound of the 15's, it looks to me like you took up the space worth 15's. I'm sure that with your knowledge and resources you could have created the same sound with larger subs and smaller enclosure thus taking less trunk space. However, like allways you made an install look like a million bucks. Nice work.

From this video The install looks amazing, very clean and producing what you would hear out of bigger subs. Unfortunately it looks like a lot of trunk space is gone. I have a 2010 camaro and the trunk is just big enough to be practical. I would never do this to my camaro because I do not want to add wait. I want my camaro faster, lighter, and nimble, anyway that's just how I like my cars. Either way very nice job though.
Have you guys ever seen or heard of "True Bass Solutions"? They're made by a guy in TN, and he only sells them locally. I have two of them running off of an 1800 watt amp, and they handle it like champs. Most people think they sound like 12's, and they can handle much more than what I'm pushing. If I'm not mistaken, they can handle more than the 8' W7's. You should check them out. Nice setup though. :D
i love it and i'm doing 2 jl audio 8w7 ported with a 1000/1 and 450/4 in a 2008 saturn aura pics coming soon i think you guys will love it. the box is custom for my wife with gray and pink.
Well, l guess if there is one thing I didn't like, it's the obvious...which others have also pointed out..why isn't there any kind of subwoofer protection like speakers grills or even those 3 bars that go across them like those JL W7 boxes have...just something!!!. I would be scared to put anything in my trunk. But other than that, it's a work of art!!

And they put some bunk shit in my Camaros and I tell them, "Take that bunk shit out of my car and put JL in. I would piss them off but they should have listened to me in the first place. Bullshit! Nothing sounds better than JL Audio. It hits hard and low, with perfect sound throughout the whole bass frequency.
I seen this car In Palm Beach at a Car show and it sounds a lot better in person. One of the hottest looking 2010 Camaros. You have to see all the new upgrades since this video!
Very good build job to be honest, I can see the quality but personally, it could be less cluttered, because i see the black surrounding the subs is a bit too much.......simplicity and minimalist contemporary would add some more 'up-class' to your setups. The speakers are perfect but it could be mounted with a cleaner surrounding

That seems to be a universal reply to letting you know there's a "better" build than yours out there. Check out my install vids if you get a chance, 6 13W7's,6-1000's, etc.
What's the big deal with Unique? Install rims and tires, install systems. Big deal. Focus more on the details of the customization and delete all the personal sub plot BS and drama. It's sad that JL is involved with a reality show.

Nice but i think the mesh shouldnt be there ported that way or not it there is o nee for it. I would have seperaed the subs more and ported throught the back seat with the amps at a slant in the middle of the box. Nice work UA not my cup of tea but I will give credit where its due... I personally own the CAMARO SS in this video and I get nothing but accolades for sound from the JBL's and I continue to promote both the quality of work of UA, and the great JL Audio products....... I will be having UA doing some more projects in the near future!

Dude, this is classy, balanced, bass for sound QUALITY. Not ridiculous bass that's made for SPL. Come on. Steve's Tahoe is a beast, but this is every bit just as good of a build for what it's destined to do.
It's ported through the Middle back seat most likely. I can't see them being where the mesh is on the build. They're smarter than to cover them up that much. Most likely coming through the middle seat in the back of the car. Alot of people do that nowadays.
Snap, look at 6:30 when it looks at the build in a still picture. If you look at the right speaker, to the right of it looks like that dark space under the leather lip could be one of the port holes. Just speculating. lol
3:55 ...another look at the port. Now I know for sure that's where they are. Hope this helps. Hey Will! Maybe you should tell us where that kind of stuff is when you explain the build! Lol.

Used a single jl w7 8 in the 2008 f250 and it is amazing sounds like a w0v2 12. here is the deal...with the size of the trunk you could have done 2 10 inch w7's and still bragged about 10's....guess it being an 8 gives you all the bragging rights.
The only hating i can say is that i hate its not in my new ss!
Phenomenally well built. I as well own a JL 8W7. People never appreciate or think about how much work goes into a build like this. This is truly amazing, The best thing is those subs aren't even at half tilt. You dont need Two 12's. Two 8W7's at 250RMS each and you have a beautiful sound and two drivers that wont skip a beat, wont overheat, or distort. Again Congrats to the Installers of this build. JOB WELL DONE
way to much.....if you wanted those ur probably looking around 350-4 per sub...which in turn you could get an 8" audiopulse epic ($250) which is recomended at 600 watt rms (these r only at 500) and build-sound quality is way better..

I think the install is super clean but you should use 10s not 8s even if the 8s are punchier and tighter definitely use 10s if you can.

I seen this car In Palm Beach at a Car show and it sounds a lot better in person. One of the hottest looking 2010 Camaros. You have to see all the new upgrades since this video!

Very good build job to be honest, I can see the quality but personally, it could be less cluttered, because i see the black surrounding the subs is a bit too much.......simplicity and minimalist contemporary would add some more 'up-class' to your setups. The speakers are perfect but it could be mounted with a cleaner surrounding

not bad... not bad at all. great fabrication. i guess the biggest speakers possible are not always necessary for the desired result. still has enough trunk space to be a weekend vacation car. i am very impressed with the work done to this camaro.

actually i dont work at wendys but i sure do love their spicey jalapeno burger. actually i was laughing at the guy whom said that meades tahoe is all SPL and no SQ. the reason why i say UA is crap is because all they do is rims, rattle can paint, stereos, and upholstry. i can do that all day too but i dont. i prefer making cars faster rather than making it all niggered out. BTW saosin is a shit band.

@kong6x3 Nice install, funny how the first thing out of everybody's mouth when commenting on a build is something about Meade, I like the guy, he does nice installs, but it gets old. That seems to be a universal reply to letting you know there's a "better" build than yours out there. Yes I do realize the comment is 10 months old, but its still the only one that got a response from the uploader, therefore the first one I seen. Nice but i think the mesh shouldnt be there ported that way or not it there is o nee for it. I would have seperaed the subs more and ported throught the back seat with the amps at a slant in the middle of the box. Nice work UA not my cup of tea but I will give credit where its due... You guys should do a spl with a splash of sq in it would be cool !!

Dude, this is classy, balanced, bass for sound QUALITY. Not ridiculous bass that's made for SPL. Come on. Steve's Tahoe is a beast, but this is every bit just as good of a build for what it's destined to do.

It's ported through the Middle back seat most likely. I can't see them being where the mesh is on the build. They're smarter than to cover them up that much. Most likely coming through the middle seat in the back of the car. Alot of people do that nowadays.

Snap, look at 6:30 when it looks at the build in a still picture. If you look at the right speaker, to the right of it looks like that dark space under the leather lip could be one of the port holes. Just speculating. lol

Used a single jl w7 8 in the 2008 f250 and it is amazing sounds like a w0v2 12. here is the deal...with the size of the trunk you could have done 2 10 inch w7's and still bragged about 10's....guess it being an 8 gives you all the bragging rights.
The only hating i can say is that i hate its not in my new ss!

Phenomenally well built. I as well own a JL 8W7. People never appreciate or think about how much work goes into a build like this. This is truly amazing, The best thing is those subs aren't even at half tilt. You dont need Two 12's. Two 8W7's at 250RMS each and you have a beautiful sound and two drivers that wont skip a beat, wont overheat, or distort. Again Congrats to the Installers of this build. JOB WELL DONE

way to much.....if you wanted those ur probably looking around 350-4 per sub...which in turn you could get an 8" audiopulse epic ($250) which is recomended at 600 watt rms (these r only at 500) and build-sound quality is way better..
