  • I consider this the overall greatest album I've ever heard.

  • The bass and guitar lines make me think of The Police, anyone else get this?

  • tihs sounds like the jews and the naiz

  • i love coheed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • there isnt a bad song on this album, but i dare say no world for tomorrow is better. just something about the story coming full circle makes it amazing

  • i think in keeping secrets was a great album makes me happy =D

  • This IS their best album.. every song is good.

  • @coldblooded005 I agree it's their best but every song is good on every album...;) I'm so excited for the new one, I'm 1000% confident it's gonna be as good as this one if not better.

  • Aside from being a kickass song, a very unusual one - which is a good thing. The guitar tones at the start are deliciously weird. XD

  • Ayyy This My Shitt ^_^

  • 2 people dislike this.

Two people have been added to my list.

  • Everything before YOTBR was perfect. YOTBR almost ruined Coheed for me. It was as if they became a mindless metal band on it.

  • @CatsVSHumanity sadly i think i agree =/...

  • @CatsVSHumanity I can happily say i disagree, i think "Far" "Pearl of the stars" and "World of lines" were all fantastic songs

  • Because that level is where their style had truly matured. it was perfect.

  • I love this album, that being said, their albums stack up for me in order of their release. I'm not one of those hardcore fans who "dismiss" certain albums and what-not, but, i really enjoyed their punk influence, in addition to the prog, experimental and metal influence, and with this album, it seemed that they had outgrown punk, which is understandable. As a musician, you start to crave melody and structure. I love all Coheed, i just wish they'd come back to the era before this, but after IKS.

  • she mustve been a milf

  • this album is just... brilliantly constructed, complex.... amazing musicianship... just.... for me, faultless...

  • I absolutely adore Coheed & Cambria, and the fact that they actually have their own sound, unlike alot of bands today. I hear people all the time saying how "they just sound like every other band," and in my opinion, those people are ignorant. If you really believe that they sound like every other band out there, then show me a band that sounds like them.

On another note, my favorite part of the song is when the chorus at 2:00 starts, from there its great. Not to say the rest of the song isn't.

  • for me second stage in keeping then this album imo but i was a kid when i heard the first two soo they are special to me

  • i don't know why but when i listen to coheed and cambria i feel epic :D

  • @jamawel when you listen to coheed you ARE epic! that goes for everyone!

  • @Mikeziish

    Except the fucks that hate.

  • @ObliviousCrow those fucking fucks.

  • Coheed and Cambria you are the only thing that can calm my nerves right now!

  • this is my favorite album

  • this is my fave album and song i just love the sound of the music in this one

  • Most underrated Coheed song?

  • @VastFarFlung most underrated blow job?

  • in the comics "coheed' and 'Cambria' are people. If you read the comics and are a hardcore fan of this band then you will get it

  • @vannyowns "IRO- bots will never die"

  • @SoulfulFungus Tis one of my favorite songs!!! <3<3<3

  • The Crowing is honestly my favorite song

  • You guys should look for the comic book series that Claudio made! All these Coheed albums are based on the comic books, and it is such an amazing story

  • I've always hated that the people say they know Coheed and Cambria, and the only two songs they've ever heard were Welcome Home and Wake Up. They are SO much more than that yanno ? Like this song in particular got me through some of the roughest times i had growing up.

  • This is probably my favorite song on the album.

  • this song makes me emotional. *tear

  • i honestly think this was there best album and i fucking hate everybody who says coheed sucks and they only have one good song. it really pisses me the fuck off

  • @CarbonKid47 I agree with you. This album is still the best. Brings back good old memories.

  • @CarbonKid47 inb4 its not welcome home/feathers.

  • @CarbonKid47 suck a bag doush

  • Man, na boa, poderia ate ir p rock inrio, mas no dia do Metal? acho q ouve algum erro pqp, o isso tem a ver com Metallica, motorhead angra e sepultura?

se conheço bem esse maluco vão levar garrafada a rolê

  • Why does this song only have 35,000 views??? Oh wait, i know. they are all listening to welcome home.

  • @rapsucks9000

most of people hate this album because they are used with Coheed and Cambria as a "Black Metal" band and they just turned out to be a "emo-rock" bank.

  • 2 People couldn't get Mother to turn on.

  • I Love You Coheed! My life has been truly blessed since my ears were exposed to your music.

  • I absolutely hate it when I hear people say that they don't like his voice. They're too brainwashed by the typical boy band nasal voice that they don't know good music when they hear it. I love Coheed and Cambria!!!

  • Yes, yes you can

  • coheed and cambria are like the most versatile artists i have heard in a long time. keep em comin'.

  • "I'll leave the light off to turn your mother on..." So we're insulting each other's mothers now? I see how it is Mr. Sanchez...

  • How can u not like this song? Wow

  • People who say they suck have to little music taste.

    I like

    Coheed and Cambria

    Slipknot

    System of a down

    Fall out boy

    Paramore

    Cannibal Corpse

    Coldplay

ect.... any thing that is real

  • @Pondebong job for a cowboy

  • Mother superior is my fav C&C song. I LOVE THEM ALL THO

  • Hey! If you guys love C&C, check out the rad band they picked to open up for them in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada! Search "The Ides of Ruin" on MySpace!

  • what album is wake up from? i like only the songs that r on the album with that song. well i like all coheed songs but i like thpse the best.

  • I won't believe any words that you tell, and i won't drink the blood if it spills. So there.

  • "I'll leave the light off to turn your mother on" omgawd i just realised that small sexual reffense.lol i <3 coheed and cambria!!!

  • @ZombieNosebleed You're a quick one alright, none of the rest of us caught it!

  • These guys have a great sound; it is refreshing to hear a group not try to cover everything up (including their lack of ability) with distortion and yelling.

  • it's not that all of their songs are very well written and that they are a world class act. it's that they have a song for every mood in my opinion. i could listen to coheed if i'm extremely pissed off or if i'm having the best day of my life. they have songs for everything

  • This is my favorite coheed album <3

  • Coheed is the greatest band ever...its unreal

  • awesome.....

  • pls help COHEED and CAMBRIA BEAT TOKIO HOTEL.

VOTE COHEED in MTV MARCH MADNESS

    h t t p : / / n e w s r o o m . m t v . c o m

    thank you

  • one of my friends at work try to be all cleaver with a lyric from one of his songs, but then I got him with on "so while little children play, I' ll leave the light off, then turn your mother on"

then he had a smirk on his face ,kind of laughed , and the said shut up.

  • lol at the hate i get here

  • its just one line...so its doesnt define the entire song exactly.

  • THis song is about more than sex.

  • i cant believe so many "hardcore fans" diss this album. they must not be musicians because this album has a lot of shit going on. they'd realize this if they opened their ears and stop putting welcome home on repeat.

  • @rapsucks9000 This is coheeds best album to date... every song is amazing. The willing well series is amazingly epic. Totally agree with u. And ya RAP SUCKS lmao

  • RAP=Retards Attempting Poetry

  • people who diss one genre on ground of dislike...judgemental fucks...

  • shut up fag

  • @kylejamescarr i totally agree with you, and i was gonna thumbs up your comment, but accidentaly hit thumbs down O__O sorry..

  • @ReiAime Lol thats alright. :) I love when people put thumbs down on my comments. Cuz well i dont really care. XD lol

  • haha, this used to be my least favorite album :P i got REALLY into it like 2 weeks ago,and all these songs are amazing...the only 2 i dont love are always & never and wake up xD,i cant fucking live without any of the others :P

  • @rapsucks9000 Excuse me if Im wrong but, are you saying that C&C are lousy musicians?... if so, you cant be serious, and yes, I am a musician.

  • did you read my comment carefully before you replied? i said the "hardcore" fans who diss the album must not be musicians. they dont understand how great this album is. Coheed are NOT lousy musicians...

  • I did read carefully but it was somewhat unclear and tricky, so I agree with you, they are very, very good musicians... Have a nice day.

  • welcome home is like the least appeling song on the album in my opinion

  • @pizzaman3210 : kmph you probrably heard it too many times on the radio. Welcome Home appeals to me a lot more than some of the songs on the album...beside the writing writer and telling triuth. of course, that's my opinion...

  • nah just didnt like the tone..i like almost all of thier music tho

  • @pizzaman3210 Welcome home is the least appealing to the ones who listen to more then just that song by coheed and cambria. I myself like the song, but would much rather listen to other songs before it. Most people only know of Coheed and Cambria from Rockband, and usually only like it because other people do. I enjoy every song I hear by Coheed and Cambria. This is one of those songs. :)

  • @rapsucks9000 Thats true mate, this was an amazing album, but bands evolve, and people need to get over the fact that Co&Ca wont be the same band they knew.

  • @rapsucks9000

I completely agree. This is my favorite coheed album.

  • @rapsucks9000 well i dont think they are hardcore fans because everything that claudio writes is like a masterpiece, anyone can like "welcome home" but that doesnt mean they have at all good taste in music, if you dig thru all the music he has done, shabutie, rarities, coheed and cambria, PFI and love each and everyone song then and only then can you be called a hardcore fan.

  • Dang, pally. That's some arduous work you'd have to do there, kid.

  • @rapsucks9000

This is probably my favorite Coheed album.

  • @rapsucks9000 haha

  • @rapsucks9000 This is my fav. album by them. The guitar playing is off the map, and the Willing Well sub-series is some of the most epic shit out there. I love all Coheed, and am enamored in the story, but IMO I put this album and No World For Tomorow as my favs.

  • @rapsucks9000 that would be because this album was a step towards the mainstream, and the two albums before this (iksse3 in particular) were impossible to surpass in terms of quality. love this album though.

  • i honestly think this was there best album and i fucking hate everybody who says coheed sucks and they only have one good song. it really pisses me the fuck off

  • @rapsucks9000 Most hardcore fans don't hate it, they just got tired of its overexposure in the community. It totally overshadowed the album that came before it and the one that came after, which is kind of a shame considering how good they are. And in the end this is the one they're going to be known for, we're just trying to show off the others.

It's still an amazing album though and deserves all the praise it gets.

  • @rapsucks9000 Very true, I actual just got this tab book, but i think in keepng of scilent earth is my favored album. And I enjoy your name.

  • @rapsucks9000 your not hardcore if you diss coheed. they. are. hardcore. \m/

  • @rapsucks9000 Thank you

  • @rapsucks9000 this album is more poppy...thats why they dont like it. Its instrumentally the best in guitar and bass but the drumming on yotbr is amazing. The other albums are more underground and darker sounding

  • @TheLunchBawx dude this is their darkest album.. the songs are just crazy!

  • @gonjagoonss the lyrics are dark but its their like most mainstream album

  • @TheLunchBawx idk man.. when i was a coheed noob, the only song i listened to on this album was welcome home because i felt everything else was lame and gay. Now this is my favorite album because of how unique it is. I honestly think NWFT is their most mainstream. I use NWFT to convert ppl to C&C lol. But nonetheless, I love every single one of their albums.

  • @gonjagoonss yea no world for tommorow has most of my favorite songs. this one comes second. then year of the black rainbow.

  • @rapsucks9000 hardcore fan and i love this album :D

  • Interesting song. It has a great guitar intro.

  • hm...

    "So run little children, play

  • whats the story of this song?

  • SEX

  • lol sex!

  • If only more people listen to c&c
