Well, I'd call it that because there doesn't seem to be a foreseeable victory condition. The declaration of "Mission Accomplished" by President Bush doesn't actually mean it's a success ;) So the most likely end to the war, as I see it, is a troop withdrawal and a civil war.

I can also see the various allies slowly withdrawing, while the US is increasing its presence...

Don't get me wrong. I do think a wholesale withdrawal and leaving the country to collapse would be fine.

This is much more the same as soviet school of animation. Which was builded versus W.Disney and other Hollywood toonmakers. I think animators learnt in USSR. There were a lot of NK people over here in Russia in past times. :) May be even now many of them learn here.
