yes, terry date and vinnie used a fuck-ton of reverb on the kicks. normal kicks, but has the tight hall reverb at like +15db, and they are gated so you dont get the "ring" of the hall but you get the highs boosted all to hell.

Mechanically AJFA was brilliant, just to me it's overall feel was lacking, as if robots wrote it.

@123normalperson I wouldn't say those are the ONLY good songs but for the most part it's pretty much true, Cliff and Mustaine were Metallica's true angry metal driven writers in my opinion. The album And Justice for All is nothing short of a masterpiece don't get me wrong, but every time I listen to the album I always feel like some level of intensity is missing that the first 3 albums had. Mechanically AJFA was brilliant, just to me it's overall feel was lacking, as if robots wrote it.
