بسی جای خوشبختی است که درکانادا اشخاصی با عقل سلیم حاضربه قبول این واقیت شدند که نوروز اولین روز اولین ماه فصل بهار (فروردین)است با سپاس فراوان از تک تک اشخاص که در این مورد رحمت کشیدند. و اساس سال نو موقیت کره زمین در مدارش نسبت به خورشید است که این موقیت کره زمین توسط منجمان به دقت تا ساعت و دقیقه و ثانیه محاسبه می شود.اعتدال بهاری دوازده اردیبهشت است لذا و نمیتواند اساس سال نو باشد.

In last 7000 years Iranian immigrated to everywhere in the World and today perhaps more than a billion people who have Iranian roots with all kinds of religions and races have big celebrations in Norooz, many of the said celebrations have changed the name of Norooz yet spring parties could be found everywhere and this is what Persian named it as Norooz or "New Day" to forget all wrongs of past years and move with hope to futuure....

80 million people of Iran celebrate Norooz, And it is originated form Iran, NO & ROOZ both are persian words, don't know why some people talk pure nonsense? If Norooz is not originated form Iran then where? Halabje of Kurdestan? or downtown LA? or north China?

Zarathustra or Zartosht fortold the birth of Christ- hence the 3 magi , which is a Persian word. He believed in reincarnation, as I do. The 25th of December was celebrated in Persia as the birth of Mitra- our sun-god. It makes sense since thats winter Solstice. It was adopted by Romans and Christians later on- as the birth of Christ. This awakening- our awakening- is for all . Blessings.

I haven't seen any crime committed by Iranians. nobody hates us here. well, there are bad people in every culture, nobody can deny it, but it's better not to judge a whole nation by those bad guys.

I would like to recognize and express the gratitude of the Communities that celebrate Nawroz to Mr. Moridi for his efforts.

At the same time, I was a bit curious about the reasons because of which he did not include some of the other communities, like Afghanistan which has over 100,000 people in Ontario alone. Afghans celebrate Nawroz exactly the same way as Iranians and also there is Tajikistan, etc. who celebrate Nawroz as well. I would think that would have strengthened his case further..

I'm beginning to think that the same resolution should be passed by the government of Quebec. Eventhough I'm unsure if we have the same power in Quebec where the presence of Iranian community is comparably dimmer.
