I have natural kinky hair.I want a full head to prevent having to put heat to my hair to make it lie down.Am i a canidate?I want a sew-in soooooo bad!!lol
Hello. Can you attach clips to hand-made wefts? Like, sew them onto the track? Or is the hand-made weft tracks too thin or whatever for the clips and thread to attach?
I know with machine made wefts you can just pierce the track and sew the clips onto them and they're really sturdy... let me know thanks!
@LILKINKYBITCH123 Sure since YouTube doesn't allow links... go to our home page > Supplies and accessories > Weaving Supplies > Weaving Cap... please contact us if you have any questions. Thanks!
@thatgirldjenane@thatgirldjenane It keeps the track from shedding. Sewing through the weft actually pulls the weft apart and can significantly reduce the longevity of the install.
@nollybird Yes you can, this is what's considered a permanent install and you can swim and exercise with them. You just have to make sure you wash and conditioner properly afterwards. This method of installation using quality Indian hair from perfectlocks can last up to and over 1 year... 2 years in some cases.
@ilovepaul55 They look just like any girl with long hair. That's the whole point of hair extension weaves, they're totally undetectable if done correctly... they look just like your real hair. Hair extensions are great way to extend your hair for any ethnicity and/or color.
How are you able to wash your hair? Under the net ? I know some last for over a year!!! I don't think i'd be able to go that long... a month a most.. .T____T
@Metorfreak98 The net should actually be removed so the hair can be washed. We have some customers wearing the same hair for over 2 years, it's because they remove the install to clean then reinstall the same hair. Cleaning your natural hair and scalp is the key to long lasting hair extensions, it is a process however.
@xMaddTemptedx It does pull and tug at the hair on your scalp... but I don't thank any of our customers would consider it painful. It's definitely bearable, and the end result is the beautiful, long hair you've been looking for. You could always try clip on extensions.
-How long does the weave last?? And when it starts to get loose or unadjusted etc- how do you adjust it/how does it work once the time frame it lasts goes by??
-ABOUT THE NET: Also where do you purchase that net? The net- how does it stay in?
- Can you feel the tracks if you run your hands through your hair- is it obvious to tell if you're wearing a weave?

I like the idea of the fold-over technique - as cutting the tracks makes the hair shed to much. But, as my hair is natural, (and i don't want to leave my hair out), will this still work? Any comments will be appreciated. Thanks.
I've heard good things about perfect locks, my sister ordered their weaves before and it looked real nice. I've never worn a weave before but I'm now seriously thinking about it. Any words of advice for a newbie?
hi there... im gettin extensions next month but my hair is quite short length ( just covering my ears). which wud be possible to do weave in or weft hair.. i mean does it make nay difference nd do you have to do dat braiding thing... i wudnt want dat...
I like my extensions to come a little farther in the front. Like on the sides and near the top how many bags of hair would i need and how would i put it in?
what is this technique called, i want to get it done but when i call the hair dresser i don't know what to tell them, i say braided tracks and they always think i mean separate tracks without the net. can someone help me?!
Okay I am scared to death to try getting a sew in again. The first time I ever got one I think the lady braided my hair too tight or sewed them in too tight and I got a rash all around my braids and there was whiteness around my roots, i don't think that was good. Can someone please just tell me if all sew in's are put in that tightly or did the lady doing my hair do it wrong?
she prolly did it wrong. They are supposed to be braided in tight to keep it lasting long but not toooooo tight. Next time tell whomever that does your hair not to braid it in so tight..
hi rockrapgirl, you probably had the hair braided to tight and if you had rashes on your scalp you must have had an allergic reaction to the weave. Tell your stylist about the hair and braids. BTW: Pro10 is a great weave that's hypoallergenic.
your attaching it to the braid and the net. the good thing about using the net is that it allows you to sew the weave wherever you need it even if there is no braid in that particular spot. (hope that makes sense!
Sure, the net allows for the more "permanent" and secure installation by giving you a foundation to sew the weft into. It also tucks your hair securely underneath, keeping your natural head of hair fully intact. This, in effect, allows for the extensions to do all the daily work. We've had customers wearing our extensions for well over a year with these sew in applications.
Wow, thanks for this awesome video. I showed it to my stylist and even she learned something I think haha. I haven't tried their hair but I've heard great things about it. A couple of my friends ordered from them and they look fantabulous.
If the each package is 4 ounces... does the track get shorter depending on the length of hair ordered? In other words, I'm wondering if I need more hair if I get a long hair length like 26".
like a super high ponytail without the tracks showing? i do competition cheerleading and for the comps. super high straight ponytail with a ribbion and also how long does it last?
Yes, you can wear a super high pony tail. You just need to make sure your stylist leaves a bit of loose hair near the back of your neck. That hair can be used to cover the last track so it won't be visible. Depending on how well the hair is maintained it will easily last in between 6 months and 1 year.
if you were to wear a high ponytail. should hair be lett out in between each track? if so do you sew the waeve in a u shape (leavin the front, sides and back of your hair out?)
Sure, you could wear it in any style you like! It is very flexible and versatile. You could wet it up to get it curly or use a flat iron for a bone straight effect.
2 packs of the wavy hand tied wefts were used in this video. It's usually recommended to use in between 6 and 8 ounces. The wefts at Perfect Locks come in 4 ounce packs.

why do you use a net? the hair looks fabulous.
kiki31476 1 year ago
@kiki31476 The net puts all the stress on the net itself rather than your scalp. This reduces any discomfort your scalp may encounter.

ebonee206 1 year ago
So you'd be able to remove the net and then wash the hair...
How does that work? Would someone have to unbraid the extensions and then take off the net or would you be able to do it at home on your own?
