If you go on the Ski-Lift, you can see a small white house. That's where I stayed! I miss Conneticut. :(

@MaggieTLJ The ride secures you in without the seat belt. I am the skinniest of a group my seat belt came undone and i was fine with putting my hands up.

CT is by far the best place you could put a wooden roller coaster, ive lived here for 16 years and i love their rides. Boulder dash is the king of all wooden rollercoasters

I was actually there last night, and this is by far the best wooden coaster I have ever ridden. There's nothing like it! Until you experience this for yourself you will never comprehend how amazing this really is! :) P.S. ride it at night, theres no lights so your in the mountain and cant see where your going its awesome!

this was my first ever roller coaster ride, i went on it twice after that in the same day last week!! i was soooo scared before i got on and before the first drop going up the hill... but it was awesome and im definately going on it again!! its super fast.. fastest wooden roller coaster in the world bit thats part of what makes it fun! if u dont like it the first time u definately will the second! it does take a couple of runs to get use to the speed ;) oh and i sat in the middle seats, i think

It is so much cooler than this ride in my opinion. The Cannon Ball Roller Coaster is Located at Lake Winnie in Chattanooga Tennessee.

Was never on this one. It looks really fun with lots of airtime. Also, I really like how close the trees are to the track. . I do not notice lights which means it must be great to ride at night.

I love these kind of coasters! I really love ones that aren't made to shit your pants whilst riding, but I love going a balanced speed, and going through awesome scenery such as the trees and stuff surrounding this one. Now I love Twister and Extreme coasters as much as the next guy, but relaxing rides like this are awesome to! Kind of like Goldrusher at SFMM, its kind of a weak ride but kickass scenery :)

Went on this coaster opening year and it has been my favorite coaster ever since that first ride. Truly one of the best Custom Coaster builds ever, and the GCI improvements seem to make it even more fun.

What I said before was that if you want to drive down, its wel worth it, however Lake Compounce only has like 3 roller coasters. This is the best by far. The other wooden one is small, but fun and the last is your standard steel boomerang. It is worth it just to ride this ride in my opinion. Have fun :)

@Knexcoasters58 Well i would highly recommend Lake Compounce, I love it. By far the best wooden roller coaster i have ever been on in my opinion. But the problem is that that is the star attraction of the park. Other than that the only other roller coasters are Zoomerang (you standard boomerang coaster) and Wild Cat, which is a small, but fun woodie. So if your up to driving down to ride Boulder Dash, then i would highly recommend it.

Rather than just an out and back it was designed to traverse the terrain where it is built giving you the illusion of being captured by a wild beast and taken for a frantic ride through the woods and ravines of rural Ohio at an incredible speed. It is also built in two parts. The first being the romp through the woods and the second part hurls you down a second lift hill at top speed and into a huge helix. INCREDIBLE RIDE!

@brimancandy The ride is mad fast, especially during the summer at night. If you ride it at opening it tends to be really slow. The ride is really fast and the airtime is great. I care about speed and airtime more than drops.
