Sadly I must admit I know very little about southern sudan! But I bet when I check back on these comments in a few years it will ring true. You may get your independance but just looking at this video, so many leaders so many armed miltias (not an army) it is going to be a blood bath! These so called freedom fighters wont drop those AKs when independance comes, untrained militias prefer soft targets, I feel sorry for the people of sudan. Good luck!

SPLA has come close to capturing Juba several times. ask Omer Bashir why he signed the peace agreement if he didnt know that SPLA was capable, and indeed within site, of victoy. do you know that Juba was surrounded by SPLA since 1983, and i mean within 10 kilometre. Bashir's only access was through air. that is how strong SPLA is. tell me, what really do you think Omer Bashir gained from the CPA. nothing; blc south has a chance to secede, with all its lush vegetations and resources.
