Whilst Twilight Princess was easy, Wind Waker was easier again. The only time I actually died was the last boss and even then it was because I entered with only 4 hearts, no potions and Zelda quick scoped me!
I have to disagree to most of your points, although sailing was boring at times, the destinations were pretty neat, each Island had something going on, and there were loads to explore. The Music, the story, the graphics and vast over-world were brilliant, and even though there weren't that many dungeons, they still were some of the most amazing in the series, especially the Earth Temple. As for difficulty, for me its not really that important, as long as the game is good fun, then I don't care.
i agree this game was boring and the ending was stupid. gannon is evil... just plain evil. why did they try to make him some misunderstood victim of circumstance?
It was a key mantra for this game to try and make the characters more interesting. It worked well for Tetra/Zelda but not so much with Ganon. All I could think of was of the damage he had done in the past so asking for sympathy was a big step to far.
I like your comment that everybody was hyped over the visual style, however in my view each new Zelda game has to make an effort to bring in a whole new generation of Zelda gamers. I'd never played Ocarina before this, so Wind Waker has a very special place in my heart. Yes the oceans were pretty sparse, but you had to have the patience just to enjoy the sailing. The bosses aren't very challenging but neither were they in Ocarina, however the Wind Waker bosses have so much more character.
Twilight Princesses bosses weren't challenging. OoTs were quick to die so if you had an idea how to kill them you would win quick. But if you went in half assed they would cut you down. I got beaten recently playing the shadow boss. In WW I could go in missing key items with little health yet I was only ever punished for this once.
I found the bosses in WW more interesting than threatening because they did have a lot of character. But I feel bosses need to be threatening.
I said I would be doing this review a long time ago. I've got to be honest when I do reviews. If you don't want to see them anymore then you are right to unsubscribe. All the best for the future lad.
I don't know how you can call Wind Waker out for being easy and not Twilight Princess.

"It pales in comparison"
To pale in comparison (with something) = to seem lacking in importance or quality than something else.
