I'll be taking this flight in a few months! Could anyone give me details about it, such as how long it was and how long you were able to get off of the plane for at each island? Beautiful video!!
Steelersfanhawaii: the air mike crew are the best in the business it is because they are all islanders from various islands of Micro, Marshalls, Palau, Guam, and Saipan...
wth...sorry ladies and gentlemans...the island moved....but i love pohnpei because its part of micronesia....love kosrae too and chuuk....all i want to say is that "GO MICRONESIA"
I have taken this flight the entirel length several times when going to Philippines (CO 933 & 934 between MNL & GUM). Long flight, but very fun except when it was my side of the plane to get off at one of the three Micronesia airports. Continental flight crew (affectionately know as 'Air Mike' - cabin crews stationed in Guam) are the best in the business - they are very freindly and give you plenty of snacks/drinks. I hope the merger with United does not screw up the Air Mike operations.
Ahhh...this brings back memories...Got the pleasure of taking this trip as a Continental employee....also went to Palau out of Guam....Outrigger Resorts and Pacific Palau Resort....never forget it!! Thanks for the vid!!!

i love flying the island hopper! haha. i love take off's and touch downs! flew with this everytime i go back to manila. :) just cant get enough of air mike..
Good and informative video. Can see it's sun in Majuru and Kwajalein, but rain in Kosrae and Pohnpei. What time of the year did you travel? And what about the number of passengers onboard the the flight. Any seats available or was the flight fully booked?
Agreed very good compilation and interesting to see all those little obscure islands and get a feel for them. Continental has got that market cornered.
Nice compilation. I feel very lucky to have visited Micronesia (Palau) and flown on Air Mike. When you arrive at those tiny airports, all the workers are waiting for you because your flight may be the only flight of the day! Very cool.

Ummm...excuse me but this is North Pacific, not South. South is Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, etc. North is Marshalls, FSM, CNMI, etc.

@steelersfanhawaii Continental Airlines - the life line to the world for Micronesians. Without Continental, Micronesians would be stranded
